If you wanna get some coins , no mater what coins, you need to multiply them. Ofc if you don't have so much money so you can buy equipment for mining or for trading. If you are a simple beggar who needs to collect 100 000 satoshi in several days, then only thing is to gamble. If you have luck you will win it, if don't you lose it. Just that simple Wink

Oh right, I don't gamble so Tongue.

I don't gamble either, but maybe you could say business opportunities are gambles, but I like to think of them of investments with strong educated predictions as opposed to down to sheer random chance  Cheesy.

i wasn't that into bitcoin during the election cycle last year, but i thought the odds of obama winning were very good and would have put in $500 if i didn't have to pay capital gains taxes.. man, if i had that much in late october, i'd have at least 200 coins by now. but alas, i don't. so no point in dwelling over it  Angry

I mean that I only make wagers in bitcoin.

Like, "I bet so and so will have dumped so and so by next Tuesday."

I bet on anything that makes money, you'd be a fool to just bet purely on Bitcoin because that's practically gambling, as everybody in trading always says a good portfolio is diversified to spread the risk.

My bitcoin related new year's resolution:

I only bet in bitcoin.

Every day, chatting face to face, someone says, "I bet..."

So when they say that, I say, "I only bet in bitcoin."

Someone will ask you what it is, and then you get to explain.

further, if they truly want to bet with you, they have to set up a wallet Smiley

I have 3 bets going, one with my bitcoin resistant partner.  I'm looking forward to losing this one and forcing him to own some bitcoin!

anybody else doing this?

nb: I was not sure if Economics, Gambling or this subforum was the best one - apologies if I've missed the mark.

Probably could go in a few other subforums; maybe even Bitcointalk.

And good idea, but I wouldn’t want to risk my BTC  Cheesy.
