There's absolutely no similarities between the both of them... cashout option In crash games are kind of different because they can be removed within an instant.. remember that In crash games the cashout offer only stays as long as the plane is in motion, the moment is crashes the cashout is gone, you can't compare this to sports betting because it doesn't operate the same way. In sports betting you can always click on the cashout offer anytime as long as it's not close to the end of the game..The cashout options of sports betting is quite easier.

It would have been easier if all casinos were correct in implementing it. The fact is most of the casinos do not let that option be it on the increase when you win some games or in the decrease when you are losing a couple of games to be active, they are very selective many of them and they instantly disappear and make it appear the cash out button whenever they feel like it, from this I conclude that there is a whole team behind the cash out option in casinos who strictly monitors what is going on with many bets, they must have a platform where they see active bets and some people would run like algorithms if certain events are triggered, in crash though is different, in crash the algorithm is run by the software and it is much different, there no appear and disappear games do happen so that is why crash is better in this context.

Cashout is way better than playing crash since you won't really feel so stressed out and tensed when cashing out usually, but the opposite is the case usually when playing crash games.

I have earned way more profits through cashing out at the right time when compared to playing crash so far. Also, one big similarity between them is their names.

There are some similarities sure.  Not a super great comparison though.  With Crash games you can't just hit a button and abort your bet.  You're locked in.  You're also playing against people you don't know or have any idea their play style, so you're really just guessing and hoping to get lucky.  Whereas with sports betting you not only have an abort button to cash out bets that are starting to go sideways, but you also have the ability to research the matchups and make an educated guess.  There's nothing educated about guessing in crash games.

Cash-out is nothing like a crash game!
Major differences:
- a bet can end  in your winning even if you don't cash out so letting it run doesn't mean you will eventually lose like in a  crash game
- as you go past multiple wins in a parlay and your cash-out increases the chances for you to win are actually higher, in a crash game the longer you stay the lower your chances for a win
- in a crash game you can lose right from the start, with a cashout option even if your first team is currently losing you still have a few % available to cashout

When I saw this thread and replied to it, I realized that the crash game could be similar to the cash-out option in sports betting, as we end the bet early to secure a profit, even though there’s a chance to earn more. This often leads to regret when we see that it could have delivered a bigger profit. Do you think there’s a similarity in any sense?

It doesn't make much difference when you end a bet early and take a little profit from it instead of allowing it run to the end. The most important thing is that you were able to make profits from it even though you would have gotten the opportunity of taking the whole profits in full but not ending the bet earlier can lead to regret. What is just there is that it depends on the emotional balance of a gambler, if they can bear a lose when they had the privilege to cash out a little amount but couldn't. But for someone who is emotionally strong, they can allow the whole bet to finish without cashing out halfway. Yes there is similarity between the crash game and the cash out option since the crash game involves ending the bet early and take some profits while the cash out option also involves taking some profits when some of the events you bet on are already playing accordingly and you are afraid of an uncertainty if you allow the bet to finish, it may lose.

Yeah, they’re somehow similar but also have huge differences, unlike the crash games, sports betting has the potential of having a HAPPY ENDING even without you cashing out midway, which of course isn’t the case in crash games, because in crash games, you MUST secure your wins midway or you end up losing everything because there are never any potential for a HAPPY ENDING in crash games.

you can cash out automatically if you just set a price amount for how much you want the crash game to stop and give you your profit almost the same when you do sports betting you might have an amount in mind and that will be your goal that when you meet you are already happy with so you can also do the same with crash game where you can set a goal amount regardless of the maximum amount you can win
You can but you will difficult to say stop to yourself especially when you see the multiplier increase so high. Your minds will telling you to hold your finger to stop but if you use cash out automatically feature, you will regret it because you will say that you can get the big multiplier if you don't use that feature. So that will make you don't want to use the feature but use manual way. It is difficult if you already have a target amount you want to achieve from gambling because that will be in your minds and you will not stop gambling if you are not yet reach that amount.

There is a similarity if you look at it from this angle but also there are lots of differences between them; the first being that you can cash out in crash at any time but for sport cash out you have to wait for the casino to present you an offer, it’s not something you can do anytime you like and this right here is a huge difference between them.

Cashing out shouldn't be a problem to any one even if one is supposed to win big waiting for the end of the game. The reason why people cash out is because they are not sure winning the game if they wait to play till the end. Just imagine a game that you have opportunity to cash out but your instinct tells you to cash out because you are not sure of winning if you wait till the game and you Continue with game and at the end you lose it, you will feel bad for not cashing out. Sometimes when  we feel bad for cashout for game that was supposed to be big win, just also think what if you never cashout and at last no win.

They might share a similarity in terms of, you having to keep some of the profit but the difference applies in the amount you get to keep.

Crash games puts the longer you go or could hang on into consideration in giving out there cash rewards while,
Sports bet cash out option uses an entirely different tool. This puts into consideration the possibility of having a favorable result or not. In the event that the bet is heading your way and all that stands barrier is time which bares the unknown, you might have a cash out option and most times, isn’t so attractive but, once the events goes south, the option is off the menu.

There is a HUGE difference that must take in count... you cant win a crash game. it will ends ALWAYS in a loss = it will crash .
That is a good point. With sports betting you are fighting against the chance of losing but there is still a chance of winning the whole thing which could win you bigger profits. With crash game, it’s required for you to cash out. To escape basically but cashing out is not a requirement in sports betting

Another difference, you can't play crash game during the game. But only at start. This means that cashout option is always adaptable in a game sport...and you can choose when and what to bet... Roll Eyes it means you can have totally control on what you're doing...
Does it differ per platform? because the crash game I played allowed me to manually stop so if I suddenly decided I want to stop now I could. Unless I opted for the automatic cash out.

Cash out option have some similarity with crash games in my opinion but that is only in certain circumstances. Crash games tests the greed level of the gambler and so does cashout but the only difference is that in cashout is optional whereas in crash, if you don't take your money, you lose everything. In addition, cashout may also be seen as a psychological problem such as expression of fear and lack of trust in ones analysis but in crash, it is part of the skills a gambler have to perfect to be able to succeed in the game. Therefore, cash out is different from crash games in many premise, just that they have minor similarities.

In crash game, you need to think fast to click the stop button because if you are late, you will lose the chance to take your profit. But in the sports betting, you can click the cash-out button to take the money but you also have a chance to wait for a while until the match is end.

That's true but there are some betting site once the games you select is in play the cash out will be unavailable it will only come up when your selections I mean your games are playing just as it is predicted else the cash out won't be shown but I think it depends on the kind of betting site you're making use of. However I find this  crash game very risky that is why I don't always pick interest in playing it, if you're not fast enough you will end up losing your money in that crash game because is very hard to predict.

Technically you are right. There are so many similarities because they both involve deciding the right moment to make a profit or minimize loss before things go south. But there is a difference in terms of time factors. In sports games, the cash-out offer might remain till the game ends. You will have a hedge over your bet and the offer increases as long as the game is going your way but in crash games, you are watching a multiplier increasing and hoping to cash out before the game crashes. You do not know the end, as the game might end in a few seconds after thinking you should wait more.

exactly, but there are some sport options you will pick and you won't be able to cash out because it will be unavailable. in Msport and some other betting site once you pick this away team to win either half or howe team to win either half the cash out will not be available until the game is over this can make or cause one to incur loss in their betting because of the unavailability, not only this option there are other options too that you will or can experience this..., whenever you pick option and you are been showed cash out your cash out will increase as long as the game is going as expected or predict and when the chance of it changes it definitely come down but in crash i do not think there are is any change in the cash out because it is more like a one way something that is continuing and just fail or stop and the cash out will increase as the crash continued.

It's more about the psychological factor, not the technical aspect. In a crash game, it's already a basic part of the game that you need to stop or cash out, as you'd call it in sports betting. But in sports, you can just let the game finish without needing to push the cash-out button. The psychological factor comes in because you might feel regret for missing the right moment to stop, which could have given you the biggest gain. But since we're only human, we can't always time it perfectly, so no big deal.

The only similarity is you can cash out even if the game is not yet complete, but when it comes to strategy, crash games do not offer anything; you just bet and you decide when you cash out. While on sports betting, your decision to continue or not to continue is based on your analysis.
Between the two, I consider the crash game to be nerve-wracking and heart-pounding. I remember there was aa bettor who could not cash out even though he already had 100x profit because the stop button was not working on his cellphone.

They are similar just in a way that you are both risking the chance of bigger profits if you just wait a little longer. But they are still different because with cashout option in a sport betting you already know what could possibly be the amount you win. You already have an idea of what could you walk away with but with crash games you do not know if that amount is already the maximum or it could go higher. I think crash game is a lot riskier actually because you could decide to cash out at 10x but then it stops at 50x. Who would have predicted it will reach 50x?

Maybe that is similar for you but for me, that is not because both sport betting and crash game is different gambling games. But in the sports betting, you can click the cash-out button to take the money but you also have a chance to wait for a while until the match is end. That can gives you a chance to get the full money as your winning. But I admitted that if we missed the chance to click the button, that will be a regret for us because we can not get the money while we can.

Just the process of you being able to leave/bail out in the middle. Other than that, there's no similarity whatsoever really. Just the duration between the two is more than enough to make the difference between the two glaringly obvious imo. Like Basketball matches last well above 1 hour, while a crash lasts on average maybe less than a minute at most for the most part?

And there's also the fact that in sports, you can at least determine the reason "why" you should cash out. Crash? You just cash out based on guts. Yeah I guess the feeling of loss when you cash out early is the same, but in essence the reason why you did so isn't exactly the same.

@OP, I don't know if you read this topic "Understanding the cash-out option" by stompix, you will understand the things you need to know about sportbook cash out. In sports cash out, you could get a higher amount from the potential winning amount after some bets has played out successfully and you could also cash out a less amount from the amount that was staked. In crash game, as the bird keeps flying and the casino keeps multiplying your staked amount, you could decide to stop it and take what you have got, I think is just a little similar with the sportbook.

The only similarity which I see is the potential  regret but in my view the latter is the feeling which must  be suppressed  by every gambler otherwise one can  reach the absurd length and lament  for example on the low price set at the crash game or in sport gambling even when his attempt resulted in win. Every outcome in  the crash game should be considered from the positive side.

When you decide to cash out, it is either immediately when you are about to lose, a person is definitely doing this to recover his money. If your favorite team is performing well and moving towards victory, then you will never cash out, but whenever your favorite team is losing, the amount of cash out changes, the match can have any result at any time, so the cash out changes based on the performance alone. Because those who can come out safe may recover some money and those who cannot come out face losses.

I literally do not see any similarities between these two phenomenon (i.e Cash-Out and Crash game). Because just as cash-out option is usually a product of the outcome of a successful progressive predicted gaming event, whereby the more the games you predicted played according, the more your Cash-Out amount is likely to increase the more. Whereas, Crash game on the other hand is an automated game whose outcome is roughly a product of random algorithms. Hence, while the influence on sport Cash-Out is likely to be both skilled and luck, the influence on Crash game is solely based on Luck.

I use the cash out option all the time, best deal ever to me because I often have to leave a game early and obviously scores can change the team ahead can still lose.   However I would not really relate that to crash game, I think sports betting is way more regular even I dont want to say its easier exactly.

They are both great games but the cash out deal is a game changer to that whole section, not having that would stop some bets because time constraints etc.

How do we classify crash game to cash out option ? Well, if you think they are similar to me they are dissimilar because crash doesn't work as cash out option neither did cash out option work or function as crash game.

From most of the information I read on gambling section here cash out option is never an option to cash out a game when a game is running or when a game is about to end maybe remaining about two or three games to finish running. Cash out option is an option given to players I mean bettors to make correction on their existing game maybe if they don't trust the game the place bet on they can easily cash out the found used to stake the game, but we all sees it's on the reverse.

Though it's not also bad using it that way but the right option has been said, I also experienced it as well. Few days ago I was booking games and I made a mistake went and to choose market that wouldn't favor me, after I have already stake the game all I did was to cash out full amount I used to stake to game and have a readjustment on the match and luckily I won.

Actually, if you look further, the scheme is a bit similar where all decisions are ultimately in our own hands whether to continue to the end or stop halfway.

And, if you look even further, all games of chance relay in the same principle: the higher the risk, the higher the potential profit. On the other hand, it is no different from investments, where the higher returns are often linked to higher risks (like in venture capital).

So, if you look for similarities, you'll find out that this is not something specific between cashing out early in sports and in crash games, but common in all random-based disciplines. The difference is that in some of them you can't finish early. But we could make the analogy even with Bitcoin: hodl forever and risk a decline with no future recovery, or secure profits by selling when the price is good enough?
It's just that I don't want to equate the aspects related to investing with gambling because for me it can't be equated so I will skip this part because there will definitely be no agreement because for me gambling and investing are different and opposite things.

No for the soccer problem sometimes there is a certainty especially when the bet we place is certain to get a profit according to the odds such as when the club we support is comfortably ahead and definitely not overtaken then the choice is clear to leave the bet until the end, different from the crash because in the end the crash is uncertain and we don't know where the numbers stop so even though there are similarities there are still some things that make a difference in the end so this will only be the same in general in gambling but when talking more specifically the difference will be seen.

There is a slight similarity, though I would not go as far as saying both of them are the same... within a crash game you have no idea when the plane or the number will crash and you are being guided only by your sense or intuition it gut feeling, on whether you are doing the right thing by cashing out at certain point of the session. On the other hand, when we talk about cashing out earlier in a sport betting session, you are not alone and being guided by your gut feeling, there is also the factor on whether how much you know the teams which are participating in the match and your own statistical analysis on the possible results of the match, which does not have anything to do with crash, no analysis is valid in crash or similar gambling games.

There is where one can see the difference between gambling and betting, in my opinion.

This is a good comparation, both games have somethin in comon the fact that the bettor can walk away ay anytime with a flower profit.

But I think crash is better because there users can case bigger multipliers, in crash you can chase a x10,000 if you want while that in sports is almost impossible

Yes of course there is a difference in cashouts in crash and Sportsbook games.
Crash games do have to cashout at the beginning to secure your winnings, there is no waiting at the end because the rocket is definitely falling, so as much as possible can cashout at the beginning if you think the multiplier is enough.

Yes there is a huge difference between the two because in sports games the cash out is only available when the regulators of the site knows that you stand a chance to win those games but when the gambler selected the wrong game that we can naturally see that is impossible to win they will lock the cash out but as for crash games it work different because their cash out is always there for the gambler to utilize so is not something they have to wait before is visible for them, though I think it would have been the same as the sports cash out but the gaming time is what makes it different because crash games are mostly second or minute game so cash out needs to be available all the time unlike sports that only open if for instance the six game you played two or three has gotten in.

Isn't it true that in the crash game you have a target to gain profit? For example 2x and as long as it is achieved then you reach the profit target. But what is unfortunate is that 2x has been fulfilled but still not satisfied because the rocket continues to rise to 10x, 20x 30x, even up to 100x making you regret, dissatisfied and in essence greedy. The mistake lies in you who do not return to the first rule that after setting CashOut means no need to regret.

Somehow, it's the same. It's like a separate bet. So it could either be right or wrong in the end. But in the case of early cash-out to secure a profit, at least it's just a choice of either small profit or big profit. There may still be regret in the end for taking a small profit, but at least you've got a profit. The bigger problem is when you opt for early cash-out with a loss because you think your bet would lose. If this kind of cash-out proves to be wrong in the end, the regret is far more bitter.

Crash game is time-based; you have to decide quickly. There's no analysis to get involved with; I lose a lot of money because I was seconds late. That's the difference; the similarity is there is an element of greed involved.
I have a harder time deciding on crash game than sports betting because it was so quick that you must decide before the start of the game but sometimes greed overtakes my resolution  Cry this is where I usually lose.
I completely stayed away from this game, even though I gambled just for fun but I really didn't enjoy the Crash Game.
This game is more taxing on my mind and mentality when I don't stop it in time.
There are more defeats happening and even though some wins are gained in the end will just come back and it happened to me.

It is better to play games such as Slots or other card games that can be enjoyed more.
The level of greed with game crashes is very high and makes one become more frustrated.

If we're talking in games, crash is FPS based games while cash out in betting is turn based games.

Although I understand what your logic why cash out option is similar to crash game, but it's different because in sports you can win the highest possible win without need to cash out, unlike in crash game, you have to cash out even though you've hit the highest possible win.

Like every other casino game out there, they are built on engineered algorithms that are designed to be profitable for the casino only - the player might take short term wins but will never win long term. =
It's same to sports betting, they take commission from gamblers who bets and they earn more than what the gamblers lose than the total amount of gamblers who won.

I realized cash-out option in sports is similar to a crash game... Well, in my opinion, that is true I mean is just similar to a crash game because in the crash game, you cash out before the plane or dragon or whatever it is touches the ground, and along the way, you can cash out whenever it is.

Tho everyone talk about the early cash out and I saw this in positive way, because you can choose cash out early rather crying later IMO

Going by OP observations, i will first reply by saying there is quite some differences, in sports, you will discover the similarity with that of the crash games being almost same in terms of the odd, cashing out and the specific game we are playing and its features applicable, this same thing make it more of a similarity on other games we are playing in gambling because they all often share one or two similarities together, even the overall games differences are there including the playing mode and strategies, we must not misunderstood them together with each other being the same.

It can be read that way in some context but there are quite some differences, in crash game you can cash out of the game any time you want as long as the multiplier has not crashed yet while in the sport betting cash out option you don't have always the option to cash out the money even if you have won 6 out of 13 games for example which in theory should entitle you to that withdraw option. That is the main difference, the other difference is that in sport betting you have an approximate idea of your percentage chance to win the ticket, something totally different compared to crash game where the multiplier can crash anytime without notifying you at all. You can also watch some games live in order to know what is happening while in crash you cannot do anything as it is totally random.

It's the basic tenant of gambling and risk itself, it's the unknown, so if you don't want to risk then cash it out. However, I will tell that you should not feel that regret in the end because you obviously doesn't have the courage to continue with the game and see how far can you go, that is a lesson learned from us. So there is the advantage and disadvantage of it and at the end of the day, it's your decision to stop and take profits.

But at least though in sports betting, you have control, and maybe think logically. In crash, there is none, it should be instant as before you knew it, before the multiplier crashes. Also it's skills vs luck, in sports betting, there is skills that's why again as I have said, you have enough time to think about early cash out.

So for me, there's a big difference between the two.

I don't think there are similarities between cashout in sports and crash games. Cashout in crash games are only available as long as the plane keeps flying higher but the moment it crashes it disappears. Cashout in sports betting remains stable or keeps increasing as long as the game is going according to your prediction. Sports betting is more better than crash games in so many ways. The house edge in crash games is one thing makes it hard to make profit from. I'm a gambler that has experimented on both sides and I can say that it's better to stick to sports betting.

I'd say that there is quite a major difference between sports betting and crash games. Like every other casino game out there, they are built on engineered algorithms that are designed to be profitable for the casino only - the player might take short term wins but will never win long term. They are designed to give the illusion of player control, but that is the funny thing about gamblers, as they often have an endless greed and sow the seeds of their own (financial) destruction. It is the buzz that everyone is chasing, the "just one more" before I go mentality that keeps so many people hooked on these games. Even if you win once, they almost expect you to plow the money straight back in again chasing a greater high.

Yes, there are some similarities, in the case of the crush game, we cash out the game after seeing the possibility of the rocket falling and stop it, but here we cash out the game before seeing the possibility of the rocket falling. However, in this case, the game should be stopped before the rocket falls because here the rocket can fall at any time and we can lose the bet. On the other hand, in sports betting, cash out can be done based on the result before the match ends, but there is a big difference even though there are some similarities. The difference is that in sports betting, if cash out is done before the match ends, and if the result of the match changes after cash out, here the odds may change if the result is in favor, but the holder may regret it.

But there is a slight difference between crashes and sports betting where we are certainly aware that the crash pattern is actually simple where we can determine where we will jump without caring what will happen later whether there will be a bigger increase or stop but in sports betting the results can be certain but at some moments it becomes difficult to get certainty.

Like in soccer betting where everything is focused on the 90 minutes so for example when the club we bet on is comfortably ahead then there is no reason to abandon the bet and run until the end because it will be a definite advantage in contrast to crashes where we don't know where they will stop.

That's one thing people do not understand in gambling, you don't need to be greedy in anything that has to do with gambling, so gambling is game of less interest and you need to be smart during gambling, if you have a reasonable option that is higher than the funds you use to stake in the gambling, you have to ensure that you secure your capital first and if their is a reasonable profit you can cash out without hesitation, but some people out of greediness that make them to lose what a profit they're supposed to make.
Yeah that is the real truth about it because most people are always greedy when it comes to cash out, without noing that prevention is better than cure. At least as a good gambler once you're been offer a cash out that is bigger than the amount you used in the game it will better for one to cash it out rather than waiting for the game to end then at last you ended up regretting which is very wrong decisions. However, just like me ever since I experience such thing in gambling wherever I place a bet I don't wait for the game to finish again, I always cash out on time to avoid being regret at last.

There is a similarity and it lies in psychology. And that is cashing out early to avoid the risk that is involved in doing otherwise. Both are simply keeping losses small and making bigger profits than their bet. Both aims to avoid the regret that comes when the outcome is what was not anticipated. If we study this closely, we could even find other games that share the same similarities.

Trying out to compare betting into some casino games is never been the same.We do know that when it comes to crash games then its something giving out that instant result when it comes to the outcome of such roll on which it will really be that up to you whether you do cash out early or not. It might be on the same principle since we are talking about having some cash out early decisions be made. The only difference is that pretty obvious on which comparing out a pure luck based games than into those things that involves application of analysis and skills about on betting on a certain sports. We do know that the odds or chance of winning could really be that affected out basing into your knowledge towards into a certain sport.

In regarding about cash out feature generally then it will be that up to you on how you do handle up things accordingly. If you arent that having the behavior on trying out to observe things accordingly and really just that wanting for you to play up even more despite of the loses you do make then it is really that showing that you arent that good when it comes to self control and moderation on which we know that this isnt really suggested or recommended on the time that you do deal up with this space.

Almost similar in that you can cash out before the match ends or in crashes before the rocket falls.

The difference in sports betting is that there is still hope until the end and depending on which team is chosen with it, if the game turns around then the bookies will offer smaller or even nothing to be able to cash out.

What is clear is that both types of bets have the option to cash out.

I don't consider both to be similar aside from the fact that you have the chance to take something before it could lead to nothing; the crash game always is unpredictable. You can lose everything just after you click on a bet without even having the chance to get anything out of it.

That regret some people feel on the crash game for cashing out early is just pure greed if you ask me. What if the game ended just a few minutes after you cashed out?

Will the person still feel the regret or not? Cashout on sports betting is far better than crash games. You sit down to predict your game, and you also have a few minutes to decide which chance is far better: wait till the end of the game and take the whole winnings or just cash out and avoid the risk, which crash doesn't give you such an option.

Yes I think there is a similarity between them in as much there is that cash out chances either before the game crashes or the sport games wraps it rounds up to an end.

They both have the cash out options to optimize players take profits if they had been lucky to be of the winning role even while the game is still ongoing and so on as well once accepted the cash out you automatically exists halfway either to breach potential of loosing it all or you misses out to take huger amount of wager when the game wraps up.

Difference being in sports betting the end is fixed and you can't decide to continue after that point. In crash there's no pre-fixed cap, unless you have chosen that exit point before the game, so your greed can grow almost indefinitely.

Also, in crash, you have no sense of the future outcome, unlike following the game live.

I remember someone posted a screenshot of his crash bet a long time ago in this forum as well. He was seen regretting why he didn't cashed out. It suddenly plunges.

I also figured in the Crash game, the player's money also fluctuates while the plane still flies so there is no fixed amount until you click the button. It's safer to just cash out when you are not sure how it will end.  The greed I think is caused by how much the player has lost since he started playing casino games, hard to win in these mini games.

I would say there are no similarities among them. With cash out in sports games you are typically seeing two options if you could leave it or take the offer. And there is a timeline you can give yourself to cash out in case you decide to leave it for some time. But in crash games every single time you wait you become closer to losing if you don't take your profit. Also, there is no consistency in the game so you might want to find a pinpoint to cash out. In the end, the crash game is more terrible when it comes to risk.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Yes of course there is a difference in cashouts in crash and Sportsbook games.
Crash games do have to cashout at the beginning to secure your winnings, there is no waiting at the end because the rocket is definitely falling, so as much as possible can cashout at the beginning if you think the multiplier is enough.
Sports betting depends on the match so the bookies will usually change your chances of winning to cashout, including in terms of games and scores.

There is some similarities but also major differences. Cash-out amount changes as the score of the match changes, it could go up if the expected outcome is looking likely, go down if it is unlikely and even get removed altogether. In crash, the odds only goes up till it stops and you either have jumped safely out or you crash.
