When you send transaction in BTC, all content of one or more of your adresses are taken and used and part of it will be send to you into your new address, that is probably hidden from you in client.

Example:
you have:
1address1 1BTC
1address2 1BTC

and want to send 1.5BTC to 1adresss3

It will get all these:
1address1 1BTC
1address2 1BTC
and sends them this way:
1address3 1.5BTC
1address4 0.5BTC

Where 1address4 is your address that client generated for you.

Now over 2 hours later i just got 3 random payments from satoshidice? ALso under bets it shows i placed 7 but my loses are more then I even bet. Under transcations it looks like i sent them 12 payments while I only placed 7 bets? THis seems like a scam to me

yea its legit, but also, sometimes you have to give it some time before you receive your winnings. Like it might take an hour or so.

I just played the the 73% game 5 times and the 91% game once and all were losers. After each bet I owuld have to click the refresh button and then it would say calculating win/loss. Not great at math but I would think the odds of losing those bets would be very slim.

Gambler's fallacy. Wink

You were unlucky each time.
