Let me know what you all think about this..........

one of those wild gray doves, the ones you can fit in the palm of your hand, had a human hair wrapped tightly around 3 of it's front toes on its left leg (they call it toes on birds with the claws at the end of it), and I was able to get the hair off.
Really you come to see that in a dove? that is a great timing.

Quote
If I didn't, it would have been like other birds who get tangled, it's toes would have suffocated and fallen off and would be left with a stump at the end of it with only it's back toe attached.
You have a good heart mate , then you are really deserving to that bird because of how you both met.

This bird already had a stump on it's other leg, so if I didn't take the hair off, it would have ended up with both legs with stumps.

now are you caring of this bird? and have you made so much joy to the bird lover community.

Ofcourse it's good to help animals in need. And it's unfortunate that alot of issues that affect them negatively are often created or caused by humans. The human space and handwork is just too chaotic and harmful to them. Civilized people ought to take animals into consideration while doing their things. Afterall, we own and share the space together.

Anyway, it's good not to ignore when we find them. It's actually part of human role to take good care of them when they are in need. Those that can't be handled by you should be handled by qualified hands.
And it's important to note that it's not by accident that they are found by people... they are shown by the ONE who made them. If you end up helping them, HE is pleased, and could bring more and reward you.

He has done a great job as a real person thank you very much for showing kindness to the little bird. Usually people don't do such great things at this time they hunt birds and capture them if they can. The love of animals is very good thanks to your help the bird's life was saved.

Thank you mate and Mango , How is she now? where did you bring Him this valentines day?

I have bought few pairs of Local birds last Valentines in  Theme part as I have small budget that time so I cannot free them all , so I only bought 5 pairs and bring them in near mountain area before freeing them.

Its always heartwarming seeing them flew again as free living .
Awww, thanks for asking.  Just the other day the sunlight was coming into the room though a glass vase just right, and someone sat still for just long enough for a couple of portraits.  Grin

This is both upsetting and wholesome.

It upsets me to think about what could have happened to the bird if you did not do anything to save the bird. Seeing animals with missing parts hurts my heart so much so it is such a delight that you were able to rescue this bird!

Such a wholesome moment and makes you realize that there are still people like you out there who would go out of their way to help a bird as small as the palm of your hand. May the bird be well taken care of and live longer.

Salute to you!

You did what is Human has to do , we are the protector of the birds but mostly humans are their enemy .

Hoping that you will continue saving many birds and not even birds all the animal that you believe needs help because they have no hands to do such.

Salute to you mate.

It's hard to touching and you have to be patient as you gently pluck the feathers from the little dove's toes. Keep do like that brother, so heartwarming to hear that you managed to free the bird from a potentially dangerous this situation and you saved birds.

Hello  to Mango mate!!

Here he is taking a quick nap.   Smiley

He's so pretty , I use to have a pair of Albino Love birds years back but when I need to
migrate in another place(work related) i have to handle them to My cousin and yes they are still good
now with their 4 baby birds .

I am planning now to get two of their babies since I am once again capable of taking care of birds .

Good for you and the bird!  I have a rescue bird, Mango, from a shelter that some monster severely over clipped his wings.   I'm tearing up just having to type that.
He can't fly anymore, but I carry him around all the time and he's great.

I myself a Bird Lover , have saved Plenty of them from Illegal vendors from our local church ,
In which sometimes I am buying them just to let them flew again.
but with a good deal for not calling cops over their Illegal birds so they have no choice but to sell with really cheap prices.
you and OP are Good person , the one that loves birds mostly are soft hearted person that loves to help .

It's amazing how a small act like removing a hair can make such a big difference for a bird. You probably saved it from a lot of trouble.

Such small gestures can significantly impact the well-being of wildlife. Usually when things like human hair gets entangled in a bird's toes It can lead to a condition called "stringfoot," where circulation is cut off, potentially leading to amputation of the toes.

Good job then for helping the bird.

It is possible that it just escaped from whoever entangled it with the hair. But if not then it just usually trash that has it on some disposable boxers or plastics from salon.

Anyway, small acts of kindness and help we do to our nature will be back to us in a better form just as you did to the bird.
