No hacker will want to spend time on a platform to steal money and return it, hacking isn't easy as many thinks, it takes lot of effort and time I'm just surprised that many are thanking the hacker behind poly network for returning the fund he or she stolen, hackers only tend to be nice when there are traces left behind probably through their own mistakes..
Most will not but there are still some hackers that chooses to return the stolen money from them and at least for me, it is a good thing.
This just shows that the security of the project is very weak, very weak that they are holding a huge amount of money and yet they can't upgrade their security and they let the hackers hack their system.
On the other hand, there is a possibility too that the hacker choose to just return the assets he stole because he left with some traces online. Enough for the authorities to trace him thus, he chooses to return the money. After all, the hacker already said that he hacked the system just for fun and to show how vulnerable the system of the project is. I just hope that Poly Network will upgrade their security protocols but with what happened to them, I doubt that there will be many users that will use their platform because they know that the project can be hacked and it can be hacked again in the future.
