To test if your TV is truly spying on you, stage a fight with your significant other, chasing her (better than a him) with a knife and have her screaming blooding Mary. Off camera, have her pretend to scream again, then muffle sounds. Come back to the TV covered in catsup and say, "Fuckin' bitch!" Then turn off the TV for a few hours waiting for some authority to arrive. If/When they do, continue the ruse a tad longer, stating you know why they're there and her body is in the freezer along with 22 (it's a magic number) other bodies.
Make sure you also film this, uploading in all on YouTube for the whole world to see.
