Wait 10 minutes, edit your post, and look at its date/time. It will have a dotted line under it and a hint/tooltip showing the edit time when you move the mouse cursor over it (on mobile devices it's just shown next to the original date without a mouse-over).

So no, it's not a problem.

I think this method can be used if someone wants to make a user seems that he plagiarized content.

I edited my old post to see if it changed the date but it's not, my point is what if someone copies your short post let's say your post on 2018, and they pasted it on their post where they made it on 2017. of course they delete their original post and paste your post instead word by word.

My question is, who really plagiarized it now? You or him? of course it's You the date is the evidence.
So how we gonna fix this or this method is not possible?

I don't really speak English well but you know what I mean guys.

From the day I started to post on this forum I never copy paste somebody's post. I tried so hard to construct sentences to make it understandable.
but if someone wants to use this method on me, I already said so, old post can be edited and they might copy paste your post and pasted it on newbie account who posted it way back on 2015. to make it look like you copy and paste their post when you are the one originally made that post. isn't that hilarious?

Please, can you guys answer if its really a major problem or not?
