Sorry you've been scammed.

If you ever feel up to putting LTC in an online wallet again, Coinwallet.co launched last night.
ethought is the user on here who runs it. It accepts MEC and LTC currently. He's a very trustworthy guy.

Never deposit coins into an online wallet unless you have done extensive research and confirmed that it's legit.

Sorry for your loss but there's nothing you can do now.

You're right of course.
 Sad

I received an email notification when the litecoin went in and it came from [email protected]
Is there any way I can get a name that goes with that account?

Next time if you want a temporary online wallet you could just use an exchange deposit. It may have some additional fees but it's definitly more safe than the first return from a google search.

Surely the hosts of the site can be informed and remove it.
Can Google not be informed and stop it being returned in search engine results?

I tried to put  a litecoin wallet on my machine recently but  after many attempts I gave up....Just kept getting a thing saying 96 weeks behind, it would travel to 60 weeks behind then just stop. I left it 18 hours the last attempt and it still never moved.
So I googled for an online wallet and found this place:

https://instant-e.com/

Somebody sent me some litecoin, they went into the wallet I created but I can't withdraw....every time I try it just ADDS the amount I'm trying to send to my account total!
I have emailed three times, no response.
I then found a litecoin forum and lo and behold, someone else having the same grief a few days ahead of me.
I reproduce our posts below;

Did I just get scammed or is it a bug?

I just bought £58 of litecoin and transferred them to an online wallet which looked legit. ( https://instant-e.com) - until I tried to send them to a desktop wallet. My 21 coins have been "pending" for a few days now.. there's no answer from their contact email, and my desktop wallet still says 0 LTC received and is fully synchronized. Help! The only other weird "bug" is that my balance on the website doubled instead of deducted. I think this could be bad coding because I briefly saw a negative amount in the "sent" box, and if the code is trying to send a negative number then the balance would naturally increase when the negative number is deducted..

HELP! Have I been scammed?

I just joined the forum to reply to you.
I deposited £45 at the same site but every time I try to send money it doesn't send but just adds the total to my account.
Exactly what you're getting in fact.
I also can't get a response through the support email.
I fear we've been scammed too.
Who are these revolting people?

Please be warned and spread the word guys.
