This is some pretty damning evidence found by fatanut against user Financial_Genius

Damning evidence indeed, can't argue with that. Well found.

But, as has been mentioned here, fatanut is himself a farmed account.
I just now posted connection to AlphaSun, Hatuferu, Xenophoto, Zooplus to name a few. There are many more.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16765225

My evidence against fatanut is equally as damning.
What say you?

PS, fatanut got his rewards, but i guess my bounty is not gonna happen?

Is this ever going to be answered!? I've been waiting and waiting to hear what the answer is. Jeez Louis! Anywho. Let's see if this awakes anything  Shocked

I would only ever copy-paste code if I intended to reedit it soon after - making sure I later on edit the copy so I could reuse as much as possible. And by soon after, I mean minutes and hours later, not days and weeks.

I think college got me where I did not copy/paste, as even if notes and you forget to remove it was had to go in front of some honor board.  I never had any issues as I did not copy/paste.

Don't know if a report is possible but on new forum they might see if adding some automatic copy/paste searching software is possible.  I know in most big assignment teacher's would have assistant's scan in paper's or you had to upload digital copy and it automatically searched and came out with a report that was pretty impressive.  I think the school's paid a good amount of money for software so not sure how practical implementing something like it in the forum would be.

Guys all the credit goes to Fatunut here. He did all this work and received a bounty for it as well. I just posted his findings and fired Financial_Genius. It definitely was a damn good job by Fatunut here though.

Hey way to go fatanut. I was wondering about this though:

Latest summary of listed farmed account profiles. Updated Oct 14. (some time periods/spam counts are now outdated/yet to be edited)
378 farmed accounts.

-snip-

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/fatanut-675421  Fatanut (978)

So when did you purchase that account? Or are you the original account farmer?

Credit goes to rizzlarolla of course.

He said he wished there was one, I would not expect to see one.  It was great work on you guy's finding them as they lead to utter crap post's.   But I think any system rewarding catching copy/paste could be abused.

Someone copy/pastes on a account then turns it in... could be profit if bounty.   So I think "bad guys" make any system of bounty hard to implement. And I could be wrong but I think a few would abuse it and ruin for all.

Wow, that's some damn good hunting, Yahoo62278.  Some of that stuff was paraphrasing too, not flat out copy/paste.  It boggles my mind that people would feel the need to do this sort of shit.  I get that you need to post to make money in the sig campaigns, but it seems like this moron went way out of his way to copy/paste/paraphrase stuff on sites other than bitcointalk in order to stay on-topic in these threads.

Edit:  Whoops!  Missed the credit to fatanut part in the first sentence.  My attention span has contracted to microseconds, I swear.

Nice find. There's got to be a script out there that other forum admins are using to find copy and pasted crap. If not maybe we should start up donations to make such a bot! I'd throw a few Satoshis in the pot lol  Wink

I wish there's bounty for this for I spent a lot of time to prove my point and this guy has been on the campaign ever since.

Me too. I caught about 10-15 yesterday alone and it's very time-consuming to find them.

I caught Financial_Genius (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/financialgenius-643215) copy pasting replies.

When a collectible becomes valuable, it can become money. When bitcoins became valuable, you could take advantage of their excellent system for conducting financial transactions. However, the system remains the same, regardless of how many people participate in it. Therefore, the system itself can not be responsible for those costs which people are investing in bitcoins.

Many changes that improve privacy, are under development. For example, efforts to change payment API aims to prevent the sharing of addresses for payment that creates the Association between them. The change addresses, in Bitcoin Core, could be eventually implemented in other wallets. In the graphical user interface can be added to easily request payments, which prevents re-use of addresses. Work is in progress and for the development of other functions, potentially increasing privacy, such as the ability to combine transactions together casual users.

Value, which is based on the fact that other people will consider your collectibles valuable and will want to buy it, thus enriching the previous owner.

and so on.. I guess I've made my point. I think most of his replies are copy pasted in this way. Copy paste different chunks of a single article and then rephrase some words so it cannot be searched easily.
