ordinary,

many exchanges suddenly become regular up, they ask their users for a wide variety of documents and proof of identity.
even if only my trading volume suddenly higher, they usual ask me why was my volume so high? where does my money come from and where is my money going?  Angry

should not I trade more frequently when the price suddenly changed?

this is my experience on LakeBTC, so as long as you try to get accepted it, just fine.

i have also never withdrawt anything from kraken... now i am worried...
you can always send your coins to another exchange and cash em there...
I think that is best solution if you can't cash out your coins on kraken. It is quite easy to transfer your coins to other exchanges from this particular exchange in order to enjoy your profit. I personally don't like this is exchange much, for me bittrex is the best exchange so far.

I am embarrassed that I didn't think of that.  It is in USD, but I could pay the trading fee to turn it into BTC and then move to another exchange.

Suggestions?  I trade BTC, LTC, ETH, XMR, but not much else.

I have been with Kraken for about a year now.  Now, when I want to withdraw USD to my bank, they are asking me to upload a photo of my Social Security card.  What the hell!

When I opened the account (knowing I would want to withdraw cash at some point), I went ahead and got "verified" for all the tiers that would allow me to do so (Tier 3 is their threshold for withdrawing money to bank accounts).  I uploaded my passport photo, Driver's license photo, my photo, and address verification.  Now that I want to withdraw money, they want my Social Security card photo also.  Where was this requirement when I initially signed up?  I would have NEVER opted to use their site if I had known.

Users beware!
