got the house

Congratulations.

normally don't waste too much time on things like this but some of you "legendary" guys on here just fat internet bullies

Lol, screen shots don't prove shit.  A signed message would have been irrefutable and faster, not to mention that no one here really cares anyway.  But, you seem so determined to prove something to us bullies, why?

A word of advice; stop caring so much what people on the interwebz think of you.  Now that you got the house, go build a tire swing for the kids, pet the dog, meet the neighbors.  All of which will be far more rewarding than attempting to shut-up a bunch of internet trolls.  Smiley

According to his past auctons in collectibles, It doesn't seem like he's exactly the poor guy. He make a lot of bid on precious collectible (but it might not mean anything).
Or at least he never begged money here till now

let's make a $1000 bet that I dont have at least 10 BTC and I am not american. Let's see how good your spidey senses are lol.

Sure I can sign for no reason. Let's let a "newbie: as you guys are so caughtup on on titles school a "Legend" on this forum lol

Let's both send the funds to minerjones and agree on the bet

you're all talk

If you can send me $60-$100 worth of Bitcoin (and I bet you won't - I'll provide proof for the peeps here via Blockchain) then I'll send you double back within 24 hours.

Yes, I'm quite prepared for Admin to screenshot this and ban me if I fall short (and I'm 5ft 9).

Oh, and I managed to raise £500 for my charity via a P&C donation - therefore job done but I like this place and so I'm staying (if I'm allowed to!)

Get loan in just five minutes goo.gl/8WMW6n
Until we don't see signed message from address with + 10[bBTC[/b], no one will take you seriously,
you also did not specify in what form you want to get a loan.( USD cash, bank transfer, usdt or other)

what are the tell tale signs lol?

Identifying liars is my superpower, and my methods are a trade secret.

i'd love to make you a bet here if you don't think i have the funds. Let's use a well known escrow person here if you don't believe me. like minerjones

let's bet a $1000 in BTC if you'd like to put your money where your mouth is. im open to upping it. this would be fun and entertaining for both parties.

I never said anything about whether you have the funds or not, I claimed you're not American.  But since we're on the subject; why would I believe any claims made by someone I suspect is a liar?  If you want to prove you have the funds, do as Condoras suggested; sign a message from an address with some BTC in it.

really odd about so much negativity here

Take it as an effort to keep this community safe from scammers and liars, who are the only ones needing to be concerned about my cynicism and skepticism.

Brother, maybe you can help me with your power. Because I really do believe in my scheme and want some members and one or two rich investors....But Am a newbie here and ask huge amount investment from people...hahaha

After coming back to this thread, I see that, indeed, the OP is fake. First he was talking about a quarter of a million, then:

i actually need $500k now lol.

I've been reading bullshit on forums for many years and watching people make up stories, one of the most common being supposedly having a lot of money and acting like you're dumb. Leaving aside the people who win the lottery, which statistically are almost 0, people who have a lot of money is because they have earned it. They usually are not dumb, and less waste time in the forums with ego battles when the thing can be solved in an instant:

No need for an escrow. Sign the address that you hold the ~10BTC and that's it.

But make it ~20BTC now.

Just bc you're a legend on here doesn't mean you are on in real life lol. Same for me being a newbie on a bitcoin forum. I just hate bullies so was trying to have you put your money where your mouth was. At least I appreciate you saying you could be wrong. You were so confident at the beginning that quickly turned to doubt. Bro no need to be rude in the future.

Take care man. Wish all BTC people weren't all idiots.

my offer still stands if you'd like to bet a $1k bet with escrowing with minerjones if you grow a pair and back up you sh*t talking for once.

I think you're confusing me with someone who gives a shit.

I don't need to spend any money to prove or disprove my suspicions about you.  Maybe I'm wrong but I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again, all for free.  If you have something to prove, be my guest.

I actually ended up getting a loan already through a eth defi protocol .

Good for you. Now you can lock your thread since there is no need to be open.

i love the crypto community lol

And we even more. Cool

really odd about so much negativity here

Perhaps, it's a bit difficult to understand why a Legendary and reputable member is suspicious about a newbie account (that pop-up every day) asking for info regarding a loan. You can name it as you want. You call it negativity, we can call it suspicious, skeptical, mistrustful...
The main thing is that you get what you want and as I mentioned above, your thread doesn't have to be open. Cheers.

multiple alts? im really not sure what you are implying

I'm implying your a fake.  You sure as hell don't sound like an American in this previous post of yours, more like someone trying to pass himself off as one.  There are tell-tale signs.  But whatever, as long as you're not asking for a loan here I don't care about your suspicious story.

I saw people do loans on here but I wasn't really insinuating one on here. Im not sure how it works and it seems risky for me but not the lender. I would supply btc as collateral and would deposit first so im really just trusting this unknown lender.

I am located in the US. you asked where i was while earning all those bitcoins. I purchased my biggest portion in 2014 as just a buyer and have hodled ever since. of course have bought throughout the years algo but mainly from 2014 buying.

Im actually now trying to borrow $500k. I am buying a house i have under contract for $475k plus closing costs in my city. I have got a loan from the liquity protocol with my ethereum before so i was kind of looking for something similiar with bitcoin but it seems alot of the defi lenders use Eth and not bitcoin. yeah i was trying for cash, wire transfer to basically buy this house i have under contract.

Poker Player -

i dont necessarily care too much about privacy but i kinda am trying to avo.,,.id ta,..xes . No one has contacted me through messages. it would be great to borrow from someone but i dont see that I can trust someone to do so from my end in all honesty. I suppose im a newbie on this platform with limited posts but have been in crypto since 2014 but only as a hodler.

DaveF

Im based in the US. checking unchained.com/loans and saltlending. thanks

coinbase stopped borrowing as I was going to just bite the bullet and use them. really didn't want to for tax reasons but i really want this property. thanks for recommendations. appreciate it

Kavelj22

i actually need $500k now lol. I do own decent amount of bitcoins and am serious lol. Im not asking for anyone in here to lend me the funds but recommendations as I figured there were bitcoin pros in here. I have a decent amount of btc that i have hodled and got in somewhat fairly early. I wasn't necessarily asking for anyone in here to lend me the money as that seems risky on my part , not the lender because I would be the one providing the collateral over 100%.  I was kind of asking for suggestions for any defi sites or reputable cefi platforms. I swore i would never use a cefi platform because we all saw what happened with a few cefi platforms.  I see you don't believe me , bro im not trying to sell myself to you or prove to you anything, do i just post a screenshot to shut a random internet guy up?

um yeah i've gone twice to the btc conf in miami. not sure what that has to do with anything

again bro i was asking for any suggestions for other sites you guys would recommend that you've used to borrow on btc

Assuming that you actually own at least 10 bitcoins and are serious about requesting a loan, you are most likely required to specify the method by which you want to receive that amount, bank transfer, cash, quick transfer, or any other method, and specify the interest rate on the loan, after mentioning the loan term. In the best case, the lender will ask you to sign a message from the address where you store the bitcoins and split the loan amount into several small amounts to make it easier for you to get the amount you want.

The amount is huge, and frankly, I do not believe that you actually owns a similar amount in Bitcoin, and if you do, what would you need to take a loan from the forum? According to your posting history, a year ago you were selling tickets to Bitcoin conference in Miami.

Where are you located? There are MANY institutional lenders that take BTC as collateral but they have a lot of locations where they do not operate.
At that amount of money and depending on where you are in the world here are a few options.

https://www.coinbase.com/borrow
https://unchained.com/loans/
https://saltlending.com/

Without knowing where in the world you are located it's tough to make a recommendation.

Keep in mind a lot of these are 1 way collateral holds so if you give them 110% to get your loan and BTC goes down you will have to give them more or pay off that chunk of the loan to keep the 110%. If BTC goes up, they don't let you withdraw.

But how would you like to receive the 250k? Like cash or bank transfer? In any case, it is not a very simple thing.

This is key. Even if the OP has no history or reputation on the forum the deal could hypothetically be done through a trusted escrow. The only advantage I see of doing it here on the forum is that it would be P2P, which is not small if he cares about his privacy, but if not, there are entities that can give him the loan putting the Bitcoin as collateral.

The other issue, OP, is that it is a very large amount, and the lenders on the forum will have seen or will soon see your post. If there is someone with that amount willing to do the deal they will contact you or post here, but I think any of the lenders here have a lot of track record and great reputation.

I suggest you to split the request in many different smaller loan.

Of course you are a newbie user and you have no credit here on the forum (but where were you while earning all those bitcoins?), but if you really have BTC as collateral, I think you can ask also here parts of that loan.

But how would you like to receive the 250k? Like cash or bank transfer? In any case, it is not a very simple thing.
