Yes, it seems to me that ASICs will not be a threat to the Ethash algorithm for a long time, because Bitmain did not manage to make ASICs which would be very different from GPU farm, and they will be producing them for a long time until there will be enough of them to severely increase hash rate on ETH, for me it is more scareful the reward reduction to 0.6 Etherium, and also ASICs under Equihash, because they will throw out many cards from Zcash on ETH.

My Maiming computers only come in one model friend, I dont believe in half arsing it when it comes to these state of the art items. So a one size fits all approach.

Its a 1000 round per second Chain Gun (gatlin gun) nestled in this PC tower, Now it only fires for 1 sec and I should have accounted for more room instead of adding the cool drink spot. You always get thirsty lugging this around looking for a kill or to maim someone.

I have effectively similar system using 1950x threadripper with vega fe and 64GB ram (got Ram cheap)
1950x does approx 1200h/s untuned and vega fe does 2200h/s getting average 3.2kh/s pool side for $4.62 per day current price

I have 3 other vega fe not added yet - all mine are water cooled though so I can push them easy

I haven't tried gaming though but I guess it would be fast ? not sure about maiming though Grin

First, I also thought about threadripper, but I don't know where else except mining I could load such CPU

, so I stopped on Ryzen 7, I think it would be enough for games, and also it has faster payback time.

Might I just interject a bit here and say it’s a blunt instrument, so its not exactly stealthy,silent and easily concealable, I mean have you ever tried to put one these in your back pocket or down your pants for a quick stealth kill late at night …. well no you haven’t maybe that’s why you are inquiring for this unique equipment.

What Ill do just for you is supply a clean piece of shit laptop so you can do whatever you want and give you some real maiming weapons? I dont sell maiming computers to noobs, need to build trust first.

I think it's pretty good, Vega is excellent in Ethash or other coins but it has power consumption needs to be considered. or can replace it with the RX series maybe it's more money saving and the gaming display is not too bad either.
