If you can't see the transaction (in blockchain expl.) in your own wallet address then it's not propably been accepted manually.

Wait for your newbie restriction to be lifted and this may be more productive in the currency exchange subforum.
There's also http://dgex.com which is NXT exchange. I've used it couple of times. The exchanges there are done manually by the host so it's not fast as you could think, but atleast it works. It could take up to 48hours.
I want to buy 5 BTC worth of NXT. Can anyone send me offers?
