hey guys i want to buy approximately 24 BTC using paypal.
i will ONLY accept secure form of payments (hoping some guys here can suggest what is considered 'secure').

will pay whatever a BTC is worth at the time.
would "prefer" australian sellers but thats not a 'need'.
(im saying this because i think theres less fees with paypal australia to paypal australia? i might be wrong).

scammers can eat my poop.

at the moment i only use localbitcoins to buy. so this is new and risky territory for me.
if you scam me, i will find you, and i will kill you.

thanks!!
any amount availble i have paypal and need btc
send me msg

are you fucking retarded? i JUST got burned. why the FUCK would i want to trade with another motherfucking noob.

Start an accusation thread, post all information, name the scammer and post all transaction proof. Don't forget to leave the scammer negative Trust.

oh man, this is exciting to watch, i hope we find out who the real scammer is Shocked

Could be both. One not planning to send the BTC and the other planning to chargeback from the beginning. Who sends that amount of funds to someone so new and no trust?

Will probably never find out, especially when both abandon those accounts and just move onto the next.

i'll be staying here a long time, hopefully eventually building a good reputation and learning as much as possible along the way.
but i wish an admin can check my messages and show that penner DID send me a message and speak to me on skype.
because this is KEY - he said that he DID NOT contact me. and claimed that i photoshopped the message.
1) WHY WOULD I RANDOMLY BLAME PENNER.
2) ADMIN PLEASE CHECK MY MESSAGES AND TELL EVERYBODY IF PENNER MESSAGED ME OR NOT!!!!

Popping some popcorn on this one.  Yes, Penner, why did you lock your thread?  Personally I am glad you did so I only have to watch one thread.

mrimport is either a naïve noob or a failed scammer
Penner is either a scammer or has a hacked account

Both are funny, that is for sure.

Why did you lock the other thread after that screenshot was posted?  Huh

wasnt me?? what does locking it do? stop people from writing?
mrimport:  Penner locked his thread, try to keep up.

Because this topic is to warn users and not to spam, spam but fine il reopen it
NO, please don't let's keep all the entertainment in one thread please.

GOOD NEWS
I CALLED PAYPAL AND THEY MANAGED TO RETRIEVE MY MONEY
I WILL NEVER BE USING PAYPAL TO PAY FOR BITCOINS AGAIN.
I URGE YOU ALL TO BE CAREFUL.
PENNER IS A CONFIRMED SCAMMER.
I HAVE A LIST OF PAYPAL EMAILS AND FULL SKYPE CONVERSATION AS PROOF.
HE WENT AS FAR AS SENDING ME A PICTURE OF HIM AND HIS ID WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY FAKE.
WELL DONE PENNER, NICE TRY. IF I EVER SEE YOU IN PERSON TAKE A DEEP BREATH, BECAUSE IT WILL BE THE LAST ONE YOU TAKE

somebody just needs to start neg bombing these paypal buyers on sight. Regardless of whether you are a scammer or not the payment cant always be reversed with paypal. You can also reverse it via your credit card if it comes from one.

paypal no longer calls it "gift"
its called "family or friends" now..
its the exact same thing

Yes and it gives ZERO protection against reversed charges.

any body in **SYDNEY**
i'm willing to travel to you or meet you somewhere
(before 6pm during the week, or anytime on the weekend)
and do the hand over in person.
paypal payment will be sent as 'family or friends'
there is no way i can make a paypal claim with this method

and it saves the buyer the 4% fee.

How wrong you are. Don't people read anymore?  Roll Eyes

As far as I can see, the bitcoin seller is the one taking all the risk - not you. Paypal is reversible, Bitcoin is not. Localbitcoins have removed Paypal as a source (or labelled it high risk) exactly because of this.
