Or Cheesy you can buy this : http://www.androidcentral.com/can-t-afford-oculus-rift-strap-phone-your-face-thing

it cost ~60 euro and it is shipped world wide Smiley

Cheap 3D helmet Tongue

Oculus Rift is having a very low display resolution. And I am not sure it can support 3D or not. Anyway it is not ideal for playing 3D Blu Ray movies which are having 1,080 px. resolution.

Well this is not oculus this is "dive" a cheap version of oculus :-) have a look at the movie in the link.
And well oculus 2 have got much better res than first one and you can buy it for ~300 $ if you are a game developer of if you pretend to be one :-)

Playing 3D movies in laptop will not give you that realistic feeling. If you want to enjoy it, you have to play it in a 3D LED Television.

I always feel a little bit envy to everyone who can watch 3D movies - as for me, 3D image is too distractive, I can't concentarte, and I don't like the colours in 3D movies.

well it has some issues for many viewers.
For me it is distractive a bit, but when I focus everything seems to be ok.

And I live 3D movies Smiley

Hobbit 2 was awesome.

it's actully pretty cool at times like when I watch tv and it converts to 3d.  It is sort of gimmicky and sometimes it's rather enjoyable.  I recently watched the new riddick film with it and it was cool but the film was a bit of a let down really.  My eyes just so happened to be bothering me that do but it was fun.

If you're a cheapskate like me and haven't got glasses/3d TV, set it up on "side-by-side cross eyed" and go cross eyed until the 2 pictures overlap. If you are used to stereograms (magic eye 3d pictures) then you can do it pretty well. fucks up your vision for a while afterward though haha.

A good 3d film on youtube is "Unbeleafable" - girl skateboarding vid in a fake forest, it's sick. There's a;so some cool basejumping and close proximity wingsuit shit on there which is pretty epic...

Speaking of 3D films, any new ones that are good?

I saw Avatar in 3D at the cinema and it was amazing. We sat fairly close to the screen and it made me jump how close things seemed.

I've only seen 2 3d movies. One was Avatar which was a great experience, the other was Drive Angry which wasn't so great lol.

I think 3D movies is only good in cinema because of the sound and the big screen which give it more realistic. I have watch avatar and step up  two years ago, it is was really great experience.

3d movies are over rated in my opinion I have a tv which has 3d and I have only watched around 10 movies on it I don't know why maybe because of the lack of movies made in 3d.

They are over-rated. It's just a gimmick really.

Especially when the glasses batteries always run out every 2 weeks and can become expensive very quickly.

Turn them off?

They are turned off if not in use but the batteries don't last long when in use if used a lot.

I have some wonderful 3D movies. But I can’t play them with my PC, iphone, ipad and even using the TV box on my TV. That’s very annoying. So is there any way for me to play the 3D movies? I heard there are some TVs with Wiggle Stereoscopy. Do I need to buy such a TV to play the 3D movies?

I'd suggest just buying a decent 3D tv if you want to enjoy 3D films.

You can do it low tech on any screen with RED/BLUE glasses.

There's plenty of test videos on YouTube (play this one at full screen it's awesome!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SVbzkdHcdU

But to do it properly, you need a 120Hz TV/Monitor screen and polarized glasses.

You can now get laptops with it built in.

Or upgrade a PC with a Nvidia graphics card that supports 3D.
