Not your Keys, not your Bitcoin
crypto is high risk market its known to all. But many Trades can able to earn huge money from this crypto.  I will suggest you some like as Jot, co2, modex, dent, xrp, etn, drg. I hope that you can earn little money from this.
These are all not popular in current traffic because trading is a one kind of gambling so we should not put our investment in unpopular platform and xrp growth was unpredictable in this year so no one like this platform. I suggest Binance coin because this will big success in this year.

Yeah i also see that the coins he suggested above are mainly unpopular but lets not judge them too early  . unpopular coins can sometimes became lucky and will have a good value as the time passes by  . anyway  i still recognized some coin  namely ent , dent and xrp  .   xrp on the other hand is more better than bnb because xrp has already gain reputation over the years while bnb is only a new coin  . we wont know if bnb is only a pump and dump
Ripple was banking support platform so I do not suggest anyone because centralised platform was hard to move forward again. I think Bitcoin is better than ripple so you can try Bitcoin this will make huge profit and it was highly reputed cryptocurrency.

XRP is also nice I guess, but the market is not so strong as the coin binance. they have support from the community and a very big platform. This will help the coin is experiencing very rapid growth with in the future.

Before thinking about trade BTC into Altcoins you should consider carefully because BTC is a most powerful coin and the most stable through time but altcoins is not, so you will have to accept the risks to loss money if altcoins price drop, however altcoins still have the higher chance to be pumped rather than BTC, so it is up to you to choose which one to invest.

Did you see that you are able to make the greatest decision turning bitcoin to alt why you still not able to chose the right alts good luck Smiley
they must do a research about the altcoins they will invest. It is impossible for you to just choose or search for an altcoin, which is cheap enough, you must consider other things
cheap or expensive asset value is not a good guarantee for selecting investments. but take a look at the history of your asset market investment, you could see the highest capabilities that might be achieved again.

what the heck ?  greatest decision ?  no meyt thats not a great decision but rather thats a bad decision to make by a crypto trader/investor   .  bitcoin itself is already the best coin to date  , so why would you recomend him to switch on alts where we know that alts are only following the trend of bitcoin  . and besides not all alts are legit but most of them were only risky     .

@op  ,  btc investments is already okay  . so i suggest be contented with it   . you can earn more income on btc than in alts  .

In the top 10 coins, in my opinion, it's very good to invest. And coins like Ethereum, BNB, ABYSS, and XRP are very good for you to buy. Some of these coins experienced growth and increased trading volume. Short-term investments and long-term investments I think can give you an advantage.

Mostly all the kinds are in the same state today so exchanging something into different investment will not be advisable for now Vikas if you transfer something into different investment the same result will always been there but the profit was reduced if the previous investment was increased so I think Bitcoin investment is always work in the future.

If you are behind increasing your BTC amount, any project will not change your ambition.
The reason for this is that most of today's projects are nothing more than digital numbers and without any utility or even application.
Almost 100% of these projects do not have the capacity to change this situation.
So you can buy anything, the secret is to have the luck of this thing undergo a pump
And then you have the chance to increase your position in BTC.

I’m feeling like most altcoins have bottomed out for the most part. If things ever turn around, I think a lot of these projects will skyrocket.

I currently have 79% of my holdings in BTC. 8% Eth, 7% LTC, 3% BNB, and the rest in various shitcoins.

Let’s say I wanted to put 5% of my bitcoin into 3 projects...what would you recommend?

Thanks. (Please not shitcoin shills. Real projects. Real longevity.)

Get some more ETH and get some XRP I would say. There are plenty of good lower cap ones to choose from as well, spoilt for choice really. I'd be tempted to diversify a bit and go for some of the good Chinese ones - have a look at Waltonchain. Also maybe some IoT stuff.

Before investing you should get knowledge and information about different crypto projects.
If you are just beginning, I'd stick with the largest Alts, meaning the Top20 or at least Top50, especially if you don't have to much background knowledge. Also I would suggest to stick with coins and projects that you understand and follow actively. Maybe go to an overview page like coinmarketcap and go to the websites of the largest coins and read a bit about them before even thinking to invest.
As you already have some Alts, maybe focus on other projects that you have heard about and find interesting.

Put some BTC at Theta coin right now. The main net would launch on 15 March. We all hope the price of Theta would raise for this news. Theta price dumped tomorrow because of the whale's huge dump. they dump after the snapshot was taken. But whales again buy this coin for the upcoming main net launch.

For long term buy Waves, Stratis, Dent, Polymath, and NPXS coin
Can you give more information about the upcoming mainnet launch? Is token already pumped hard and what about their roadmap?
Actually, I found this update from https://cryptocalendar.pro/event/8037 and here is the official blog post of Theta network: https://medium.com/theta-network/theta-mainnet-launch-one-week-to-go-41ad1efe7b2c

There is nothing wrong with having most of your holdings in bitcoin but if what you are after are profits then I think you are holding too much bitcoin, if I were you I will lower my bitcoin holdings 20% or 30%, now about your question you cannot go wrong by just increasing your current holdings, ethereum will surely go up during the next months once people feel the reduction in the amount of ethereum being mined, litecoin will go through a halving in this year and the binance coin is giving no signs that it will stop growing.

Maybe you can add your investment allocation to the BNB or you can also consider privacy coins like XMR, because I see you don't have an privacy or anonymous coin. So many real projects that you can choose, PundiX has launched their products and I think that is promising.

Or gamble in btt lol. Though seriously, i think it's just waiting and there will be a breakout once it gets hyped again. Probably not in the short term but i do have quite a good quantity of btt saved and i'm feeling good about it's chances.

Just add the 5% of your bitcoins into ETH, i think Ethereum can increase so high in this year. If not, invest on Universa (UTNP), their CEO is a big man and always promote their project. I'm sure they can go big in the future.

Prices are cheap right now so it is good time to buy any cryptocurrency - SONM project looks good to me (some kind of distributed computing network that uses SONM tokens for payment).
The fact is that many users of cryptocurrency do not know what is the right decision making at the present time. But it seems to me that first of all it all depends on the funds that you intend to invest in one or another coin. But it is necessary to take into account the fact that if equal to the level of 2017, then ethereum will increase its price almost 10 times, and Bitcoin only 5.

That is the past, and no one can predict if the price rise will repeat exactly like that in next bull run...
And i will try to suggest you to take the whole history of bitcoin chart and you must see that what has already happened with it in the past. bitcoin ever gets a big pump from two digits to the 3 digits but it gets down again caused by a flash dump but this time it's worth more than when the time of bitcoin has achieved that three digits through an instant pump.

For now, I am still confident with the top 10 coins. And it's still risky to buy coins with very low trading volumes. But if you want to be successful, of course, you have to be brave enough to take risks. Before you buy coins, it's better to do research on the sales chart.
Top 10 coins are always a better source of investment but we might need to wait a long to have profits with those top 10 coins. Some of the coins which doesn't have that good trading volume can be good for quick money as we could easily manage our buy/sell orders their considering the walls.

Top 10 coins will be safer investments but with lower profits whereas if we go with newly launched coins, they could pump 10xx times after their launch which could give us great profits with constant risk.

But would love to hear your thoughts.

Days before we could see almost each market into red but now some markets have started growing up again. There are a lot of opportunities to invest into coins which have nearly started growing back again as the price may pump back depending on the demand for that specific coin. It would always be a great option to put some of your investments into Eth as it is the top coin which comes after bitcoins. Eth also can multiply the profits as we already saw it crossing $500.

Better invest in BCH man. I firmly believe on it compared to BTC. And regarding altcoins also like the erc20 tokens is the best decision for greater profit even just a small pricehike muchmore if you choose the below $1 oes and excelling.

Why need to put only 5% when you can decide to use even larget amount,i think you can put atleast 5% each coins since you have already said about the bottoming those altcoins having right now

Maybe another 5% for lite coin

5% for EOS

And another 5% for Ripple

Maybe he can add 2% more in ETH, 3% more in LTC, 7% more in BNB. So he has 67% in bitcoin, 10% in ETH, 10% in LTC, 10% in BNB. I think it's a good portfolio. But maybe he can use 12% from 67% to the other coins and split 3% for each coin so he can have 4 more altcoins.

That 4 coins need to choose by selective and only choose from the top fifty coin list because that list has a bigger potential to increase. But he can also choose the other list if he has a target coin to buy. EOS and Ripple can be a good choice and don't forget with TRON and ADA although this coin still in the underestimate zone.

It depends on how much Bitcoin you own and how much the 5% would be, if the 5% of your Bitcoin holding is large enough than you can go on splitting between this altcoins, eos, tron and ethereum because I believe that this coin still have more potential in the market than other altcoins and you cannot regret making purchase of them for future purpose.

If the 5% of your Bitcoin holding is not so much, then instead of buying up to 3 crypto coin and splitting the money, it just better you make purchase of the best one and I can say that the best one for now is eos.

Binance is now showing good results, fast growth and development, so I believe that a BNB coin would be a good investment option. Tron is also a project with great growth potential, its coin can grow well in the long run, besides monthly for 5 years, BTT coins can be obtained as an airdrop at the rate of 1TRX = 0.11 BTT.

It is up you. If that is your decision then that is a wise decision. You can still gain profits in different altcoins.
Why don't you try IOST and XRP? I have a good trading income from them. Well, you can still choose based on your favor but choose altcoins that have a good platforms.

I don't have a confident with selling some Bitcoin for investing any particular altcoin because the total market is also being in a dump so selling something to put into other investment will also be like that so I don't recommend this type of movement at this time.

yes you are right but it will not suitable for all people because lots of people will definitely hold on their stability from Bitcoin investment and there are lots of altcoin investors also stay strong with their decision show the projects from each and every currency will increase day by day so it could be a good development here.

In my opinion, this is the right decision and you can later sell these altcoins for getting more BTC. This is how experienced traders make money with these tricks. Altcoins can give huge returns if you know what you are doing.

Your feeling could not be more than right! Countless projects are deeper than any previously analyzed bottom. So it's interesting your manifesto to take up some positions. I think you need to consider your needs. Is your ambition to increase your BTC position or indeed find any ALT that can compete with BTC? After answering this, you will have a good north for what to do.

The is mostly the right decision you have chosen to make by pulling part of your money from bitcoin to buy other altcoins but most of the coins that are still much more reliable are still the ones you are currently holding which you can still take part of your bitcoin to add to them each but if you insist on altcoins,  MTC(docademics), XRP, EOS AND CARDANO all have a great prospect for this year and in the long run.

IMO, Altcoins. With ALT you will have more than option available for investment and this helps you to diversify your investment portfolio. I can suggest you some digital assets (coins) on which you can start doing some research and study their websites. Only invest if you feel that these projects have potential. 5 Digital Assets that have good future in the cryptospace could be Emc2, Dgb, Stellar, XLM and SC. Just my two cents on this. Better get going as I monitor my live trading sessions. Best of luck!

if you're planning to invest again then i suggest to pick those alternative coins that already made a bump previously among with  bitcoin to ensure you can gain profits rather than investing on some uncertain recommendation  from other ppl which is just to make sure you'll need another time for it to make a research before you can invest. So much better to choose those certain and trustworthy.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Stellar (XLM)

It was created by the same person who developed the first Ripple code (and improved it with Stellar), it's as fast if not faster than Ripple, 2 to 5 seconds, most of the time 3 second transaction time.

Also, it's 3 times cheaper to buy.

Altcoin suggestions? Well, i'm surprised Airswap (AST), AppCoin (APPC) and Phoenix (PHX) are not jumping like crazy already...

All 3 very well designed, fast, robust and available on Binance.

I don't mind, I keep buying some every week for these low prices.

I agree with you and it is a swift move that you have planned to undergo. Most alts have started rising against their BTC pairs showing it clearly that they have bottomed out and left with BTC to also come in the game. As you have said it, you should put everything on it but rather some few coins so that when the unexpected happens, you don't get ruined too much.
It is good that bitcoin has been in the bearish market for long and that has discouraging the op not to keep holding his bitcoin but to invest into other coins and I believe that ethereum and EOS are some of the coins you can invest now.
I would like to know about of this EOS because I have some of this yet, I am still hesitant to hodl it in long term. Everyone was accumulating and starting to buy back everything that they have lost before since we are in a bearish market. Everything would be too easy to buy and you can accumulate as much as you like due to the cheap price of most altcoins.

If I were you I would just let my bitcoin stay's as bitcoin we are in a bear movement and I think you would gain more if you would let it stay safe in the bitcoin room and let Altcoin perish in the dark, Because we don't afford for bitcoin to go down anymore and you will be one of the people that sold their bitcoin to make it go down any further, Well that is just my suggestion and if you truly want to invest in some projects because this is your money then use fiat money in buying Altcoins and for me the Altcoin that I think that will last and make it big in the next bull run will be,
1 Ethereum
2 Presearch
3 Binance
4 XRP
5 Monero

Just a limited that I can think of but I didn't put the rest of my portfolio I just choose of the top 5 that I think, And even though I share this to you I still consider your decision and I am not a financial advisor and this is just speculation or a suggestion.

dont invest your money to altcoins. wait halving. in 2020 btc will fly. it will reah at least 30.000 dolllar. after that you can invest other coins.
until that time no coin can pump

Some amount of btc should be held and few if want to convert can be done into altcoins like ETH, NEO, BNB at this time is doing well so for short term can be invested. Though for long term one can still continue to buy the top 10 coins from the altcoins which will continue to grow in coming months.

When bitcoin goes crazy after halving and altcoin goes even more than it. Just try to doversify our amount into the bitcoin and altcoins. That much better rather than try to keep them all into the bitcoin form. That's my thought on this thing.

I would say Nexo (probably the best security token you can find right now, and very undervalued in my opinion), Populous (it may take a while yet until it explodes yet, but it will for sure) and I personally like Lympo project a lot. Mark Cuban is involved in this last one, which i think may be a "guarantee" for the future.

Well, you already got your answer man, the three altcoins you mentioned in your post is the I think the most reliable altcoin to be invested in right now. Ethereum Project, Litecoin, And Binance all of them are big project. All of them are well developed until now. Ethereum with its massive adoption on ICO. Binance is the top exchange, with the biggest volume, most of the time. And Litecoin well, it does not have massive development, or any such thing, but this project is old, so in term of longevity Litecoin is no doubt.

So, just to put more money on your current altcoin investment.

If I were you I would just let my bitcoin stay's as bitcoin we are in a bear movement and I think you would gain more if you would let it stay safe in the bitcoin room and let Altcoin perish in the dark, Because we don't afford for bitcoin to go down anymore and you will be one of the people that sold their bitcoin to make it go down any further, Well that is just my suggestion and if you truly want to invest in some projects because this is your money then use fiat money in buying Altcoins and for me the Altcoin that I think that will last and make it big in the next bull run will be,
1 Ethereum
2 Presearch
3 Binance
4 XRP
5 Monero

Just a limited that I can think of but I didn't put the rest of my portfolio I just choose of the top 5 that I think, And even though I share this to you I still consider your decision and I am not a financial advisor and this is just speculation or a suggestion.

dont invest your money to altcoins. wait halving. in 2020 btc will fly. it will reah at least 30.000 dolllar. after that you can invest other coins.
until that time no coin can pump

there's no need to change the original set up yet adding extra spare funds is much better, cryptocurrency still on it's bearish trend
though some sparks are showing but not enough for the bull to sustain it's momentum, for most traders bitcoin still the reliable investment inside
this market.

While allocating spare money for new coins to invest, take your time reviewing those project which is included from top 20 around CMC.
Bitcoin is actually still the king now when it comes to the most reliable crypto currency to invest in but do you think using Coin market cap top list to determine which project to invest in is really reliable.

Other than altcoins, Ethereum and Litecoin, I have seen a lot of coins tat where at the top 20 in the market sudden disappear from the top list leaving to the site user to start looking for the number it dropped to, so I think the best way is to study about a particular coins of interest thoroughly before investing in as you also suggest.

EOS is one of the coins that is making great wave across the cryptocurrency world and I think investing on it right now will put you among the wise investors this year!  I have bought some units of it in December when it went down seriously and my investment is now in green.  I believe that it is possible for EOS to grow to some were around $50 before end of this year and that means with investments of $300 today you will be talking about thousands of dollars by the end of the year if my prediction come to pass.  Coins like neo,  waves, stratis and dogecoin may do well this year also.
Eos is a good currency, has a good volume of operations, however, has fallen due to the fall of Bitcoin, is normal, but has good potential, its graph is similar to Bitcoin, which indicates that it is not Pump and Dump It has a good structure to analyze and is found in several exchanges. Although you can not forget Ripple and Monero that are very well established coins with a great structure.

Planning to hold or do trading? I suggest to buy also XRP so you can complete the top 3 coins and it can bring profit to you for sure. ADA, is good for long term holding if you are willing to wait for next year then I think adding this coin can lessen your worries. And lastly, invest on MB8Coin, though its not listed yet buy I see a great future for this one.

I've been speaking about it since last week. The guys who messaged me and got in at $0.04 have already gained 150% ROI. It's currently trading between $0.10-$0.12. In my opinion, it's a steal. This project can easily hit $2-$5 this year. Join the discord, take a look at their website and make your own assessment.

I think let the 79% of your holdings in bitcoin, its a good choice already.

If you want to have additional altcoins in your crypto-portfolio its better to get another capital and diversify it in your chosen coins.

There are many altcoins that has potential, choose the popular and well-established coins like the top 10 in cmc. I would also like to recommend IOST, try to search about it and dont just rely with our suggestions here.

It is definitely a good idea, as the price of most altcoins are quite low, so when the market goes in bull trend again there is possibility that some of these altcoins would pump hard. I would recommend Cardano, Ravencoin and Neo.

You have a good list of coins, and I think you can buy more amounts and wait until the price is up. It is hard to choose the real project because so far, many projects was a scam and I don't think that you will a good project with easy. It is better to choose the existing coins for investment because they already have a good history in the past and still running until now and make an update too.

ETH, LTC, BNB will be a good choice for you because I think those three coins will give you profit in the long-term so you should buy more for those coins. Maybe you can tell us how much money you want to invest so we can calculate how much percentage you can buy for each coin.

Real project for now really hard to decide. Because what actually happen to a project will can see when they listed on market. I think put 5% of money in a project that you don't know maybe if you afford to lose or you ready if loss your investment, you can pick project that still hype.

If you want longevity I'd go with Monero. IMO it's by far the most undervalued coin in the market, it offers some of the best privacy features in the market, and when privacy and anonymity actually become features that the general public will look into once cryptos reach mainstream status, there's no doubt that Monero will be the number 1 option.

Since you're pretty much holding some of the best alts in the market, I would try to get rid of the shitcoins and simply increase your stash in ETH and LTC, you can't go wrong with either if you're looking for solid coins with longevity.

I won't advise any project to you but would probably say that put it to an established coin that you already have. I'll put more portion to Ethereum, coming from you that it's likely they will skyrocket soon. Eth from $138 can potentially go back to $500 and go up to $1k in no time. Be careful of being attached to projects but I also think that they will boom again if the market ever goes on high again. I'm telling this base on my opinion but having the highest portion with bitcoin on your portfolio, I'd praise you for doing that.

you want coin suggestions aka shilling shitcoins but i will give you a better suggestion. you should stop being lazy and wanting to rely on luck and others and instead start learning how the altcoin market works. you are wrong about altcoins bottoming out. the altcoin market is a sea of shitcoins that get pumped and dumped and at all times there are some that have bottomed out and some others that are still dumping and some others that are getting pumped. the number of them in the last group is always smaller.
for example in the past couple of days ENJIN was one of the shitcoins that got pumped (mostly because of some arbitrary news). BNB was another that was being pumped because of Binance DEX crap.
there are lots of others that are getting pumped like this. you have to find out which one is good at that time and jump on board (both of these that i mentioned are already too late to buy)

All due respect my friend, if you check my history I’ve been on this forum since 2014. So...I think I know a thing or two. Asking for suggestions from others does not usurp my own research or judgement. It’s a supplement. Thanks for your input.

in my experience people online don't tend to give any good advice when you ask them "what coin should i buy" type of questions.
well i didn't know your experience but as long as you stick to your own analysis and experience you will be fine.

Holding BTC is always better since it is less risky. Anyway, since you have asked for, I would suggest you invest little more in ETH. For new coin, DeepOnion can be a good choice. It has a continuous development although at the very beginning it was a copy cat trash.
my advice is also like that from bitcoin to altcoin like ethereum because this coin has potential like bitcoin and it is also very good for a good and promising investment place because many investors believe in ethereum

If you have extra funds better to buy altcoins like those coins you are holding, i don’t recommend to sold your bitcoin because the market depends on bitcoin. We know the price will pump when bitcoin rise again, so you better to keep holding. You have a good distribution of money, just increase your holdings for a more profitable future.

Currently, the price is around $40, and may seem high, but the total supply is only 1,000,000
The community is growing all the time, and if the adoption is going to grow as till now, then the price should be soon skyrocketing.

You must bear in mind that you will place 5% of your investment in Bitcoin in a project, where it is more likely that where you decide to place it, you can go down and follow a bearish race, we are in a phase of the market that is accumulation, if the bitcoin increases, It is beneficial, but if it falls, the most affected are the altcoins and the projects ... If you have a well planned diversification, as you have shown, my best advice is stay as is, just wait until Bitcoin is in an uptrend and your entire portfolio is green. It can last a long time, but it will be worth it.

For me, one of the most underrated projects that is still out of the top 100 on Coinamrketcap is Syscoin.
Very professional dev team who develope everything from the roadmap and in my opinion has a huge potential.

You're vision is awesome and I think you'll going to be successful in the future if you choose a better altcoins which afterwards bitcoin investments will become in demand. Putting some btc to alts investments is an optional strategy for gaining another potential profit for our asset growth. For the main time, most of the alts were having shit value because of bearish market and therefore waiting time is always the main concern.
