Fist off, do not use 6990`s. Go for 7990 or 280X. And you need 4 free pci-e slots,(1x-16x) Risercables for those also. And at least 1500w PSU for just 4x 280x. .
I'm sure you'll much better help in the Alt Coin forums. Virtually nobody is using GPU's for Bitcoin anymore.
Hello, i want to setup a mining rig for Litecoin not bitcoin,
I want to atleast have 4 graphics cards probably x4 6990, But i want to know how to setup that many cards on the one machine? I do have parts, like ram, hardrives etc, Will i have to upgrade mother boards etc? i only have a 1 slot mother board, Very serious about this, so please help thanks.
