GPU miners will be worthless at best and lose money at worst because their hashrate and their efficiency is so much lower than the Antminer that there's no point having them.
You should take this to the altcoin mining section.  Maybe they can help you, since there are a lot of altcoins which you can mine profitably with GPUs (some very profitably).

i think you forget a big big detail!
if you use a GPU RIG to mine alt coins, you can sell your GPU in the future... if you have not burned it yet.. of course :-)
But if you mine with asic, like S9 or avalon 721/741, you can use it, just for paperweight

And at .12/kwh USD, your roi would be way too long (even at modest 2% diff increase) - if ever on an antminer. You need to be at .10kwh at worst.
Correct you should consider first the electricity rate for that .12/kwh USD seems its high rate. But if you really willing to mine with that rate your patience will be test. i recommend to you mate if the solar mining is applicable in your area just try it and you will gain much better income for that equipment.
I also want to try solar mining since my area was more sunlight directed, but i do not think how much would be my starting investment for buying solar equipment.
If i used electricity to mine bitcoin with the rate of .25kwh i do not think i can generate good amount of income since OP is worrying if he can get profit with only .12kwh.

Hello . I would like start mining with a mining rig consisted of 6x video card rx 480 (165mh/s and 980kw)
I am 17 y/o but i cant buy a antminer . I've heard lot of things that a antminer requires a lot of electricity . So i would like to buy this mining rig consisted of 6x rx 480 . It doesnt require lot of electricity like a antminer

So my question is : Is mining btc still profitable ? I would like to invest ~2800usd in that rig . Actually i am a student and i cant get a job , so mining will be great for me
By the way my rate electricity is 0,12kw

Thanks for your time
Hope to get a honest answer
The Antminer does take up a lot of electricity, but compared to the amount of revenue it creates the electricity usage is very low.  GPU miners will be worthless at best and lose money at worst because their hashrate and their efficiency is so much lower than the Antminer that there's no point having them.

Bitcoin mining with GPU cards or CPU is useless, you want to mine some altcoin like Ethereum, Zcash or something else with GPU cards.
