Is this sarcasm? Actually, I figured out how to pm. In my defense, I don't use these forums, so I'm not familiar with them or how they work. Only reason I'm on here is cus bitinstant is down. Bitcoins are hard to get it seems.
needcoins: Being totally serious here; no one here takes BTC for Paypal (or viceversa) seriously due to the Chargeback scam where people get their BTC then tell PayPal: "Charge it back, I never got my goods." The seller's screwed with no recourse.

I was ready to buy BTC the same day once I got everything verified. In fact, it was probably faster than doing the BitInstant $ => Mt. Gox BTC method many use. As a newbie, you'd be limited to $250 worth of BTC purchases a day (if they're in stock) on btcquick.com
