We kinda have over $700k, so we really don't need any more at the moment. Also, theymos said upfront that the prices of these donation levels would never change. That encouraged more capital upfront, allowing us to make as much as we did (almost none of the bitcoins have ever been sold). We might make more donation levels in the future, though.
I have to say I agree. Why pay it? What advantage is there to it? Why do you need a green online thing? I guess if you have the money, errr....the coins, go for it!
have you seen how much it is? wow ten coins just to get a "donation" by your name and 50 btc to get a green online thing. I think more People would donate if the price was more resonable, like one or half or somthing. one thousand five hundred bucks just to have a donation thing by my name is over the top!
