And ^that^ is why you NEVER EVER let your browser run an application without asking you about it!!! Check your browser security settings - somewhere you should be able to set permissions for that...

I am using Chrome so can you tell me a good add on or can you tell me how to set that permissions. let me know. Also if they are not going to mention it I found it my self that this site is doing something strange.

I was just thinking what coin they were mining and is it profitable then putting ads on website?

I use an addon called No Script that stops all of that browser nonsense and it only runs what you tell it is safe to run.

1. Its the internet, there are no real rules. At least they were nice neough to mention it on their site.

2. Through applets that load in your browser. There are already some other threads on this forum about it.

Hi,

Today I was downloading some songs I went to a site maybe it was called mp3free like I don't remember its name correctly, I was downloading songs but all of a sudden my PC starts lagging then I checked CPU usage from Task Manager it showed that chrome is taking all the CPU%, then I found they are using my CPU threads to mine crypto-currency they gave the message on their site that they are using our CPU instead of ads.

1- Is it allowed to use someone's CPU like that?
2- How is he/she doing that?

Regards
