When I saw the title I thought: Sounds like "The Pursuit of Happyness"
Money doesn't make me happy. It contributes into making it more possible for me to be happy, but I'm not happy at the moment. Relieved, but not fully happy. What would make me happy is if I can contribute positively to society, and be hands on about it. I don't want to sit behind a computer my entire life typing up things. I'd like to be able to help people in their time of need. I really wanna make a difference in society, talk to people, start non profit organizations with this money and just be an active member in this world. I have never wanted anything else.

That's really what's going to make me happy. Getting this money was just a stepping stone to get there. The real work and suffering starts now.

What has exactly happen, why did you get all this money?
I was wrongfully terminated from a job I had worked for almost a year now for falsely accusing me of assault. I had reported it to internal affairs. Sources found out that I was painfully terminated based on a more personal level which is honestly dissappointing and embarrassing so it's not something I'm going to openly bring up, even if my identity is really not being shared here. Still, it's very depressing. I was fired with pay, but not full pay for all the work that I did within the week. I was panicking. I had accounts completely frozen with no money in it. I wasn't making much on my second job, and the small work at home that I did was much below minimum wage. My partner and I had bills to pay, and they just kept stacking up. Honestly, we didn't know what we were gonna do.

How were you able to get all of this money so quickly? Give us a more detailed explanation about how this came about.
I was wrongfully terminated from a job, without proper pay of past work I completed. Also, this was about a 6 month fight to get this money so I can assure you there's no such thing as quick money in situations like this. The job was my main source of income. They accused me of assault on a personal level. Sources contacted by internal affairs claimed that they never even heard of me assaulting anyone. They then went to interview my fellow workers on how I behaved at work. They happily vouched for me, they were all cooperative and kindly told internal affairs that they never had issues with me and that those claims were probably falsely made because of a personal situation I had between my employer that I will not really talk about as it is very personal and upsetting to talk about. I just wanna forget about it but it's still a remarkable experience to share. I'm very thankful.

At this point, I'm gonna place more than half into my savings to put my future children through college, and just use the rest to take care of myself and my fiancé. I'm hoping to also start a small non profit business which offers assistance to children who have special needs and special skills who also happen to have a very abusive household dynamic. It'll basically be an upscale shelter system where only certain children and young adults between age 15-25 can get in. They will need to have a certain IQ level, talents, etc to be considered. I also wanna finally get the rest of my other projects off the ground like my own personal website where I offer coding and so on.

I'm gonna move very soon because my fiancé and I have already decided we would like to move somewhere else. Somewhere warm, preferably. And cheap.

APRIL FOOLS
To be broke is not a funny joke. I didn't take it too lightly... :/ but still, lol.

APRIL FOOLS

And the joke is on the OP!
To be honest, this situation at the time was nothing but scary. I went to get psychiatric treatment for this entire situation because I really honestly was close to killing myself. Still though, I guess it's a bit funny that I got compensation right before April 1st.
