Title says it all. A good pal of mine just flew to China for her dad's funeral, so I've got to post her service (only for the rest of the winter season then I will probably take this down). The founder for "Nerdy Knitties" which is a business in NYC that goes to homeless shelters to employ young teens and young adults to knit awesome Bitcoin items to keep somebody warm is hoping to keep a little personalization in the business though. She's got tons of stitching tools. "Ask me to buy you or make you any kind of knitted item, then I will stitch any phrase you want on it. It could be a name, some kind of username, initials, even your Bitcoin address who cares?! I love knitting and stitching, so why not do it? I hope you guys love this".

Click to see some of her knitted items if you were interested in her personally slaving over some crotchet needles to make it. She normally has other people making them though, (the young girls from the shelters) so that's something to think about.

She actually made me a sweater for free, then stitched "I love TheGr33k" on one of the cuffs to the sweater. She also handmade me a necklace for my girlfriend, and you can see a photo of the necklace in the link. My girl absolutely loved the necklace! She didn't have to do that for me, and I was so unbelievably happy for my early Christmas gift. I'm actually wearing the sweater right now because it's really comfortable and cozy enough to sleep in. Sometimes my girlfriend also likes to sleep in it!

Gentlemen, if you guys have a girlfriend, she has decided to give out FREE jewelry sets with every BTC sweater or hooded scarf.

If you ask her to knit any kind of sweater at all, not just the BTC one, it is 20-60 bucks worth of BTC each.

A hat is 5-15 bucks.

Scarves are 10-20.
Slippers are 10-20.
Mittens are 5-10.

Do not worry people! She snapshots her items made, then shows you a picture before having you send some BTC so she can keep having her charity business in the city. It has definitely helped some young homeless girls find their creative side while earning some cash which I find noble of her so please support her!
