IBM and the trans-ocean logistics giant Maersk are teaming up to create a blocking company that is supposed to help shippers, ports, customs, banks and other stakeholders in shaping global supply chains, tracking freight traffic, preparing documents and protecting them from unauthorized access.
The block will move cargoes
The company, whose name is not yet named, will be located in New York, Maersk will own 51% stake in the joint venture, reports.
