If you agreed on receiving 200 tokens during the ico, that would only be the coins you'll receive except if you done some bounties and they do some airdrops. The value only changes when the ICO ends but you get why you agreed to pay for initially.

I don't know why you would participate in any ICO, never mind one that is directly linked to the price of bitcoin. The whole point of an ICO is meant to be launching a revolutionary type of cryptocurrency that is different from it's predecessors and offers something new. I imagine most of these altcoins have maximum issued amounts as they follow the same blockchain model, but you would have to understand the complex mathematics involved to fully verify the max quantity.

In the vast majority of cases it won't change as described above.

In the case of ERC20 token sales you often get back your tokens immediately upon sending your ETH (they are usually locked until the end of the ICO but you have them in your own wallet).

there're 2 possibilities will happen Change and Not Change,
It will change if you joined an ico which is using Fiat as a convert rate.
for example you will get 1 coin for $0.2,so if you're buying a coin using 1BTC you can get 20.000 approximately.
(*BTC=$4000 [For Example]).
and it will change if tomorrow every 1BTC=$5000,which mean you will get 25.000 approximately.

It will not change if you joined an ico which is using BTC as a convert rate.
For example every 1BTC you will get 10.000 coins,so it will never change even if Bitcoin price surging 200% from initial price.

But,the majority use Bitcoin or Other altcoin as a convert rate,so only a few project that using a Fiat as a conver rate.
it's all depend on your chosen project rules and terms

If I invest in ICO, the number of tokens received will be fixed or it will change (because the price of bitcoin changes) until the ICO is completed?
