Topic: ICO Hype Group Pac Man Coin? (Read 151 times)
Is there a way to ban the user of those account like IP ban or something? They're quite annoying in announcement board, I can't see good quality ICOs because they keep on flooding their thread for it to be on the first page. They also make a lot of fake statements although generic but it still can possibly mislead our fellow members.
I was about to open a same thread but since I found this one let me add some more, in 3 minutes time span:

They are probably employing the same super cheap and awful ICO marketing agency somewhere from Eastern Europe (the broken English of those accounts shows typical mistakes for Slavic native speakers). I have some suggestions, but would build a social graph to prove them first. Currently there are some leads to the ADDIVINE agency or their subcontractors, yet that may be a coincidence.
This is all a common tactic among those who are promoting ICOs. They don't care about bitcointalk at all. They just want their thread on top so everyone can see it.

Team Jamal and his terrorist friends are into ICO buz. they are selling a whole ICO project with threads and bounty, they only change the name.
They are by far not the only "team" to blame, but I totally agree to you, that all that "activity" is pointless, harmful to the bitcointalk forum and a total waste of time. What can we do about it systematically?

I bet if the Mods check the IP address for these accounts it'll be same for each one. It's so obvious when all the Newbie accounts have the same number of posts...obviously the OP is using these accounts to hype different ICOs.
ICOs that require such hollow hype are rubbish, man, the only way to not lose your precious bitcoin on them is to not get involved.

It's not surprising to me at all, and these jokers probably need to be banned. I've seen the exact same thing in the past in the altcoin ANN threads, where a given thread keeps getting bumped with idiotic "great project, good luck" posts by newbies. It's obvious to me that they're alt accounts, and the last time I visited that section I reported a whole bunch of these posts. That's what I recommend you do, and perhaps mprep will ban those accounts you listed.
