For myself, it is the same concept of buying share of the company from the stock market. I invest in ICO hoping to profit when the company grow and value start to increase. I believe the investors come from all walks of life and believe in the future of cryptocurrencies, fintech and blockchain.
It is the same reason why I buy altcoins too.
