Ratings of members do not evaluate them, what we should care about when investing ico is information about the project, the development team, the plan of the project

Ranks don't matter when the poster's rank is newbie. It's all about reputation, potential of the project and it's purpose. If the poster's rank is full member or sr. member but only plan on stealing away your money and waste your time, do you want to participate? I think the answer is no. Newbie rank may be unattractive to bounty hunters and less reputation but that newbie's project had purpose/aim or goals, not scam and it has the potential. Still don't want to participate?.

Probably the reason they use throwaway accounts is because the ICO is a crappy scam. Use it as an indication of the bounty spamming projects that you should avoid. Why risk your reputation, unless you are using a throwaway spamming account of course.

Some people who have dream to make they own project count every penny, i think newbie or fullmember doesnt't matter, everything you could buy for money. More project's, more people's dream come true.

The rank of ICO posters is irrelevant. Many ICOs create a new account specifically for the ICO and copper membership is sufficient to post images.

Instead of trusting member rank (high rank accounts are sold daily), you should research the ICO, read the website and white paper, analyze the market, check the community and ANN topic, etc. then decide whether to invest.

You cant just simply buy yourself to the top. Honestly though, it doesn't even take much time to rank up(unless you don't know crap and you cant earn merits). The problem with most people is they want to rush straight away to the money.

Simple..... reputation.
If the poster settles for a newbie rank, then he wouldn't have gotten the attention of all his would be-helpers in spreading his project, unlike if the rank is higher, specially if a paying rank.

Why are you bothered by the rank of the ICO announcer? I usually dont even take a look at the name/rank of the creator of an ANN thread. If someone wants to scam you the few bucks needed to get a copper rank arent that much of a hurdle ...

I would love to participate in bounty programs of upcoming ICO specially those with pretty sound technical papers. But come on man, we're investing our time here (as well as the other bounty participants) and it pains me to stay away from participating because of the poster's newbie rank. Can't you invest some more by ranking up to Copper Member since you probably have the capital anyway? I guess many are with me on this.
I'm supposed to post this in the Meta section, but I know you newbies will flock this section instead with your ANN... so fire away with your comments/ suggestions. Thanks
