I prefer ICOs raising money by acception just stable coins. Then we or they wouldn't have to think oh half of the fund melted or sth like that.

So guys like the title that I write I want to ask or discuss about this, Do you think it's better / safer to follow ico with fiat or crypto? regardless of project scam or not, for example:

Coin A is sold on ICO with fiat fix price with a rate of 1 USD = 1 COIN A
Coin B is sold on ICO with crypto fix price with rate = 1 COIN B = 0.001 ETH / 0.0001 BTC

What do you think are better guys? And what are the factors that affect it. Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

I don't think it matters too much as people will be always comparing the performance of ICO against both fiat and crypto. The actual results are what matter and if the the product is delivered and marketed properly, the gains are really attractive.

Fixing in fiat is better. For example, look at ICO which started sales in October. If tokensale event was ongoing during 1-2 months, tokens price changed a lot for earlier and latest investors. But if projects will fix price in USD, we won’t have such problems.

Section A is a safe way to invest ICO with Fiat rate
Section B is a risk way but you will earn more if base rate by Ethereum (Ethereum raising mean your money raising too)
For me, i prefer section B right now, ETH still low $600 while it was $1400 last year
So if we new on ico investment or have a low capital do you think Section A is the best for person like me? And Section B just like a gambling? Thanks and sorry for my bad english!

I'm always for Variant B because I'm making my investments in Crypto.
I don't care the actual fiat rates. Another point is that the Fiat price can't be maintained over the whole ICO period even if the ICO is short as one week.
Actually I agree with you but I'm still a little confused because as we know invest using crypto sometimes the price is unstable, so I need advice from the members here for any factor that might make ico investors get a bigger profit opportunity.

I think that as projects are cryptocurrency, and almost all collect their funds due to bitcoin and ethereum, then you must specify the price in cryptocurrency

For me, it's more comfortable to fix prices in fiat because it's not so changeable. In addition, I invest using fiat and when I go out of crypto coins, into fiat too.

I think that it is more reliable to write the price fixed in dollars because it is more stable for investors and they have a specific price of coins

What i have observed is that most of the people still like being told about the price in usd, but personally i like the ico price in eth or btc as all these crypto currencies are highly volatile, so if an ico is being sold in crypto currency like eth we know how much tokens we got per eth and that is easier for me and also compliant with crypto world.

Looks like this will be an interesting discussion, I'll bookmark it first. I think ico with fixed rate using fiat is better because sometimes use crypto the price is not stable, Sorry if it's wrong just my opinion.
It sure might be not stable, but if the price is fixed to a good coin (which is usually the case), this gives a chance of double winning if both the famous crypto and the ico token are getting pumped. Moreover, I think most of people are trading cryptos for other cryptos instead of dealing with fiat, so it is only natural for and ico to have the price fixed in cryptocurrencies.
Fixed crypto rate is at least not so stable, it makes the new crypto look more natural and makes investor ready for fast price changes so that he/she doesn't get too scared about it the first time he sees it.
