They used fake team that's why post self moderated thread. Usually once I see self moderated thread it's make my mind dubious. Sometimes I check deeply. However reply on their thread bear no weight as well due to self moderated thread. We need deal with trust system by the way due to scam are not moderated by forum.

Great job OP. Keep finding scammers.

Actually "Kyle Wayne" also stole the picture but that doesn't really change anything.

I know that @NewChainPlatform knows about this scam accusation thread, as I have both private messaged them and posted in their announcement thread.

Copper Member... I have to admit I feel a tiny bit of schadenfreude about this one.

Good finds. Fabricated teams always mean that the site is a scam. They likely have something to hide, either in case of an exit scam, or because they have no qualifications to run the project.

I think that some of the referenced sites themselves probably aren't even the original source of the image. For example, for Thomas Williams, there are 3 sites that you found with the same image, except with different names. Very likely that these sites either used stock images, or they are themselves fabricating testimonials.

That aside, they've pretty much recycled the idea of a social trading network, which has been done in other sites as well as ICOs probably hundreds of times by now. Looking at their whitepaper, they even refer to "pump groups" as one of their motivation. That's how shady they already are even without being exposed with a fabricated team.

According to their own stats, there has currently been $15k or so in token sales. Hopefully after this accusation, no one else falls for this scam again.

If they're lying about their identities, how can anyone put trust that anything else they say is valid?

Unfortunately people do everything for money, this:

Interesting idea, finally something new. Are there any bounties or airdrop?

Do you offer bounty program?

Translations, articles, or similar which can be rewarded?

but what is the total supply you prepare for bounty, because it is also the attraction of your project campaign egretia
I just finished reading the white paper and the project looks very promising. Will wait for more information!

And this:

" This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic. "

Is another big problem, it is very difficult to confront the creator of the project when he has a self-moderated topic

They endorse each other

I saw this, so I realized that something was wrong with this project and decided to do research

The only endorser outside of this network is this dude: Bernard Sleijster. Could he possibly be behind this deceptive venture?

It's very difficult to say because I have no proof

I don't understand why people tend to use fake profile pictures for their teams. This is the shadiest type of behavior that one can provide for a new company because right off the bat, they're lying about who they are. If they're lying about their identities, how can anyone put trust that anything else they say is valid?

Death to these bad actors. This tells me that they're out to represent a solid team, when in fact, they're trying to deceive the public. This, in turn, tells me that they're trying to make a quick buck, and shows a lack of integrity.

I can't trust companies that use fake team photos and bios. They always come back with something stupid like "We just used stock photos to fill in the team for now", but honestly, there's no coming back from this type of deception; at least not in my eyes.

Thanks for archiving this, @Slow death. Just another bullshit ICO to avoid.

Edit: What gets me is the manner in which they're abusing LinkedIn, as well. They endorse each other, but it's hard to find a proper trail of endorsers for any of them from people outside of the NewChain team Roll Eyes

Additionally, a quick search for Thomas Williams on the University of Cambridge Judge Business School yields no results, even though he claims to have received an MBA in Business Administration and Management Roll Eyes
