Participating and investimg in ICOs is one thing that one needs to be very careful with and must do a very good research before investing
Most of them are just a rip-off with no future plans for development.
Check projects that have an existing product that can solve a problem and not just something too abstract without any realworld application.

You may find the white paper link in the announcement of every ICO project so that will give you clarity to understand what is the project is about so utilize that learn more about and then go to invest on ICO projects.
Mostly we are new usage of crypto platform is coming to the market that will all not move good in the market. You will find the relevant projects as a good option and it's value only grows better.

THe little experience I have is telling me to move away from project that have obscure deals, large discounts, etc... I am also gaining understanding of factors that do not relate strictly to the business.

In which project you have invested bro. I am also keen to looking on investing the ico but I am unable to find the which ico is the best one in the market now. Since I checked with the some of the site's about the ico. It shows the dmarket, synapse and other some ico projects in that list. So clear me about that.

I went to Quantstamp and mde good profit, went to ASTRO which at the moment is unknown but I am convinced is going to moon in January, I went for Ripio Credit and made a good profit from it.
I am into WAX and tried to get into GIFTO, but their sales method was first come first served and the sale lasted 30 seconds. No chance to get in. For the future, there are two I like, but I am keeping them to myself Smiley

Metronome returns 100% of the invested crypto (ETH etc.) back to the community.

Metronome gives 20% of the proceeds of the initial sale to the founding team. And then gives back to the community whatever is raised in the future auctions. Basically, the founders get a 20% of the first round not committing any further effort to develop the idea. That is not a project.

This is why I do keep on seeking those kind of project which I do see unique among others because if I do tend to read up they are almost identical or just copycats which it would really makes us hard to find a good one considering that there are lots of project that do almost launch everyday. Its quiet tiring to find but if you are really eager to get or make some serious profits then we should really work hard to find the gem. Most of them are trash but there would really be project which are really worth on to invest.

For full disclosure... Wabi token raised a lot in the first day of trading. I still think that is due to mere speculation, the underlying business is risky and not particularly good.

Heres the thing though. Why not take advantage if it is being offered for free like joining airdrops. Most of them are scams and that is certainly true but you can still be a member without investing any amount. Again thanks for the airdrop.

Feel free to add your own (justified) list...

90% of the ICOs have no business plan or even viable and are SCAMS
ICOs are just like investing in penny stock..only 1% may succeed and rest of them will die down with out trace

Invest in top 3 coins and you will profit in long term

Right, I just want to invest in the other 10%.
Not even on 10% I would rather believe it would be on 3% which are the ICO's which are really worth to invest and for those project listed above on OP I don't have much idea on it since I don't check them one by one and didn't even have heard those.I did lose soo much interest on investing into these crowd fundings because of the high probability of getting scammed or not really profitable at all.

You put 100, you get a value of 80. But don´t take my word for it. Go ahead.

Wrong.

You and the author are confusing tokens and proceeds.

80% of MTN tokens go to community, 20% of MTN tokens go to founders.

100% of the ETH in the Metronome raise goes to the community.

Read the announcement and Owner's Manual:  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-metronome-an-autonomous-cryptocurrency-with-predictable-supply-2450739

Please, invest on it. As you put your ether in 20% goes to the founders with no further commitment from them to develop the project.

Am I the author? Well, we definitely we have the same username. Not much of an "stealth" operation don't you think?

Of  course there are some serious companies too, but Metronome, Pundi X, Stack, WaBi looks like it's sole purpose is to make you pay for a non-existent coin.

Correction to Pundi-X. Now they have implemented NEM and Qtum into the payment, which is a correct technical solution.

I agree with what you say, but the top 3 coins do you mean btc, eth and bch?

Top 3 crypto investing is good since we can assure that we are on safe crypto's which had great possibilities to rise up and we doesn't need for it to wait for more months since on those top 3 coins we can execute some short term trades which can lead us earn some money on short period of time while on those some 90% of scam coins is sometimes takes more longer months to wait to pump or just it will be die forever.
