Hi,
To reduce the signal-to-noise ratio, please
don't post in this thread unless you are making an offer, or you have relevant information that might help to make this transaction more secure and satisfying for both parties, or you are replying to critique something about either my offer, or one of the offers made by one of the other posters
as being suspicious.
I would like to put out some capitals on the bitcoin thing, and I'd like to buy maybe 2 or 3 antminers which
absolutely must be watercooled. I will pay a premium of +15% on the total cost of the ASIC + parts (watercooling parts) + power supply put together. I will not pay this premium on the delivery price, but I am covering the price of delivery.
The specific set of ASIC models I am willing to buy is any of those that appear highlighted in green on this list:
http://bitcoineval.com/hardware.php . I would be
extremely happy if somebody could build a watercooled Antminer S9. Your completed product must generate little to no noise, ideally being as quiet as the completed products seen in these two youtube videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwg_GLppZl8&t=1333shttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BsxX9rHbjz0Ideally, a smart person might see this as an opportunity to resell a used ASIC miner -- I'm completely open to this option, as it would be cheaper; but if you are offering me a used miner, I'd like to naturally ask that you offer me a price for that miner in line with its market price. I'm obviously going to be gauging the prices quoted at me by market price.
(1) If you're interested in being my supplier for this request, please first make a single post here publicly, doing the following:
- Tell me the model of ASIC miner you can build for me with watercooling in here, publicly.
- Link me to the parts you will need and their prices in here, publicly.
- Link me to a price quote for the delivery price from your location to Sydney NSW, Australia; postcode 2032.
This stage is basically me trying to gauge the price I'll end up paying at the end, and deciding how many I want to buy. I am very certain I want to buy at least 2, but who knows; I might settle for one.
(2) If I accept your offer, then please make a single post here publicly, doing the following:
- Post up a youtube video publicly here showing the parts you have purchased not including the ASIC miner itself, though if you want to you can show that as well. Please be sure to, in your own voice, say: "Bitcoin miner fox uniform charlie kilo, over.". And clearly name and point to the parts you have purchased.
If other users here, as well as offline users whom I will ask for an opinion on the matter, agree that these are sufficient parts for a watercooled bitcoin ASIC miner, then I will then send a payment to you over paypal which is equal to the total price of all the parts you
named in your offer post, excluding the ASIC miner itself and its power supply plus
15[/u]%. You should reply within 3 days confirming my payment.
(3) When you finish building the product, please make a single post here, publicly doing the following:
- Post up a youtube video publicly here with the finished product, demonstrating you powering it on, and operating it for at least 20 minutes, and showing it configured to send completed work to a bitcoin wallet address. Also show clearly on screen the wallet account being credited with the completed bitcoins.
(4) Finally, If other users here, as well as people whom I ask offline watch the video and are satisfied that the completed product works and is all okay, I will pay by paypal transfer for the completed product in two stages:
- I will pay the price of shipping the final product to you over paypal, with no added premium.
- Please reply here publicly within 3 days confirming my payment.
- And subsequent to that, please mail the full product out to me at the address I will specify.
Then finally, upon receipt, I will pay the final sum to you, equal to the price of the ASIC miner itself and its power supply, plus a +15% premium on top of that for your labour.
Or alternatively,
if you live in or reasonably close to Australia, I will fly out to meet you in person and pick up the full product myself by rendezvousing with you at the Airport. This is frankly, my ideal scenario since we can meet face to face and exchange the product and the money at the same time.Additional considerations:
- Obviously this is a pretty big risk for me, so I'm trying to avoid paying the largest cost upfront.
- I'd really prefer to meet you in person to pick up the ASIC miner, so preference will be given to people who are within flying distance of Sydney. I'd be willing to pay about AUD$300 in total for return-trip tickets to fly out and meet you.
- I imagine that the meet-in-person option is preferable for you as well.
- Please by all means, if you think +15% premium is too high, feel free to bid for the job at a lower price than +15%.
Thanks a lot.
