I'm still at the learning stage but there is a lot of material available if you look around online. There are some interesting cryptocurrency courses available online. udemy.com has a variety of video and PDF courses and surprisingly, many of them are free of cost. And there are cryptocurrency journals online, many of which are updated daily. Tell me, how do you wish to start spreading the word about crypto? Do you have a blog?

It is a good idea, to start educating others about blockchain. It is a good idea for a business. My friend is engaged in such business. It brings good money. He creates individual video tutorials. The client selects the program, creates a list of questions that interest him. My friend takes off the demo version of the lesson. After that, the client receives the entire course, and pays for it. But there are some problems with this system. Dishonest clients may vanish after receiving a demo version. There is so much to learn about blockchain technology. it has many aspects. If you are from a technological background then obviously you would be interested in the codes and other technical information about blockchain. If this is not the case and a person who just want to know what is blockchain and see if he can use it in his business then he should learn accordingly. So before learning make sure to know what aspect who want to learn before starting.

But always know the difference where decentralization can be applied well and where it can't. Developers should not always apply decentralization just for the purpose of it. I believe good examples of "where decentralization is not needed" are shown in most Ethereum dapps.

Explain them why blockchain and why centralization is the problem and how blockchain works.
Introduce them to bitcoin ,and it's purpose.They will eventually learn about altcoins too later

Blockchain is public ledger in which all the digital transactions can be kept and shared between the individuals or parties. So it is a decentralized database of digital dealings. Each transaction needs to be confirmed by a consensus of majority of the participants in the system. There is vast amount of information about blockchain which you can Google or see some good you tube videos for better explanation. Basically it is just a store of information but we today are using this for multiple ways just like using it for currency in form of bitcoin and various altcoins provide various solution with assistance of public ledgers.

OP, to fully make newbies understand what, in reality, a blockchain is is to first tell them why they do not need a blockchain, and also explain "what isn't a blockchain".

The question, “Will I be able to learn Blockchain technology” has been directed towards us thousands of times. This is the biggest dilemma that most of the students, young and experienced professionals face these days. Blog posts and articles from different companies and writers going at length talking about its complexity is not helping the cause either. It is scaring away some potential great Blockchain developers and thought leaders. Yes, it is complex and we do agree. But, are you not equipped enough to giving it a shot? Absolutely no.

The way we look at it, there are four possible paths of learning Blockchain.

Blockchain Generalist- you understand the basic concepts and are capable enough to discuss its use-cases and applications in your ecosystem
Smart Contract Developer- you understand what a Smart Contract is and how to code on it
Blockchain Developer- you understand the concepts of nodes and consensus and can build a bridge between UI and Smart Contracts
Blockchain Expert- you understand how the code of a Blockchain like Bitcoin, Ethereum network works and can code your own Blockchain network defining its rules and protocols
The world has enough opportunities for each of the above four roles. Each four requires a different skill set.

If you do not have a technical background and you do not wish to learn to code, Blockchain Generalist is the role that you should be aiming at. If you are a Supply Chain Manager, or an Equity Trader or a Financial Advisor, Blockchain Generalist is the role for you. It will help you take a decision whether you should utilize the benefits of Blockchain in your current system and processes. You will not have to rely on the opinion of your friends or colleagues. You yourself would be able to tell how Blockchain will improve your supply chain process, how will it secure your financial transactions.

A Smart Contract Developer, we like to think of it as a parallel to a UI developer of the current software development ecosystem. Smart Contract is quite similar to Javascript. Just the way a UI developer need not know much about the server side code, a Smart Contract developer need not know much about the actual mining, nodes, transaction logic, and implementations. If you already are a UI developer or have an appetite for learning UI stack, Smart Contract Developer is the role that you should be aiming at.

I don't mean it needs to be using a video, each audience has its preferred format (some are used to learn with books while others are used to use a tablet, a video explainer, etc...) It's just to show, how to...

Which aspect of blockchains? Do you mean to fully undertand the technical details or just a brief overview about blockchains that they are able to use it?

Yeah these are good. It can get really technical eventually tho, not sure if a newbie will be able to deal with the entire book, but it's worth the effort.

A pretty decent shoot at trying to explain the fundamentals of money and where does Bitcoin stand. Goes from bartering to the first traces of currencies like sea shells, to gold, to the gold standard in which fiat was based upon, then to the decoupling of fiat from the gold standard, and finally reaching Bitcoin (it takes a while to get there but it's worth the read). Nassim Taleb recommends it and I think he will add a prologue on the spanish release.

Just point them to some of the basic Andreas Antonopoulos videos. These helped me understand some of the fundamentals on how Bitcoin works and why it's valuable.

This is a pretty decent one.

Most people, specially noobs in a field like this, are not going to be willing to sit through piles of text, with video can stay focused for longer amount of times and learn faster. So avoid big blocks of text for the newbies.

Just emphasize on the fact that Bitcoin is valuable because it's censorship resistant, not because it's fast and cheap, that comes second.

For more technical stuff the Jimmy Song course is good, but if you don't want to pay just google the glossary.
