From what I saw in the highlight reel I have a feeling that the normal guy will be re-elected
That said I think I have a soft spot for those old men with the white beards

lol... Harley Brown and Walt Bayes are good for entertainment. But they have zero experience in administration. Their manifestos are incomplete and focused on one of two important factors.

If you can define that as a platform, I agree with you that they have zero experience in administration. Nonetheless I must admit that those two are quite honest individuals not afraid of espousing their views on an issue. The down to the earth honest folk, they don't stand a chance politically in my opinion and likely the rational voter in Idaho would pick between Otter and Fulcher but nonetheless it is quite entertaining.
Same Sex Marriage and Abortion seem to be the key platforms
One pro and one anti the others giving wishy washy answers.

Guess after watching this I'll say who I would vote for ^_^

Practical Vote Agree with you
Bryant Butch Otter has a reasonable argument and knows enough about energy politics for me to feel confident that he knows the topic.
Between the Beards
Can't decide I like both Grumpy Old Men but Walt I guess although Harley is cool (It's BAD NOT TO BALANCE Your Budget you hear me FEDS my kids need to inherit that 17 trillion dollars)

I like his campaign against political correctness at 20 mins
(If lightning struck and you were governor nice way of putting it at 22  Wink)
Hay Diddle Fiddle Right Up the Middle That's My Style (Great Slogan)
But he was actually qualified (23:00-24:00)

Butch Otter, the incumbent Governor should be re-elected, as he has done a decent job for the past four years. Russ Fulcher is also a good candidate, but I don't think that he will be able to win the primaries.

Reading some of the comments was wondering who Russ Fulcher was and if he stands a chance in this election still watching the long vid.
That said not really a fan of those two either way

The current governor refused to debate Russ Fulcher toe to toe and insisted the fringe candidates be involved in this debate to distract from legitimate issues.
Anyways the Biker guy is quite entertaining along with that other character

So  Grin

On Wednesday, four Republicans running for governor in Idaho faced off in one of the best political debates of all time. It included references to a "turd in a punch bowl," "bondage-type people" who are "picking up strangers at night," John Wayne, the "evil spirits that are behind the feds," and dire predictions of coming earthquakes.
