I think this is just a small incident. they have solved all of those projects. CMA, XCT are listed on IDAX.
IEO funds have been returned to those projects. we should not spread FUD anymore, every thing is fine now.
Everything has been resolved? CMA and XCT supported thier Scam claims with proves. I bet they took a deal form idax pro just to let the FUD rest

If Idax.pro is a scam exchange, then CMA cryptomarketAd is a scam project too. They are yet to distribute tokens to bounty hunters and spreadsheet is locked too, without any token allocation to stakes. Xcrypto once accused Idax pro of scamming them of IEO, and CMA went ahead to list on Idax and yet you keep wearing the badge of CMA. I just can't understand this story.

I never heard about idax.pro but I already know about idex.market because I used them to sell some token that I invest in their exchange. So I don't know if idax.pro is a scam because I never used them. Right now, there are so many new exchanges which we don't know, and some of them can scam us in anytime, so you need to choose the recommended exchange if you don't want to get a scam. If you still want to try on the new exchange, I hope you can be careful and don't use big money to trade if you are not sure.

I have never used them but got to know them through a project I participated in it bounty and was listed there but up till now they have never pay us for almost a year now as the said the token will be lock for 6months even after waiting for long before this was announced .

I also got deleted from the project group for asking why the btc pair was deleted on the exchange but only the USD pair is active but was dump to a miserable amount and after asking through twitter handle of idax why the pair was remove too , I never see any response to that and many ieo has also been complaining about their bad influence in the area of ieo manipulating too and I hope we see more light to this in other to save this industry from bad heads that are willing to use their own selfish interest to spoil the technology.

It's better that you just avoid IDAX exchange in order to stay out from any problem later and with regards to coinmarketcap decision I guess they also have a point so there is a big chance that they are not going to change their decision.

But if in case there will be more victims in the future, I am sure that they will act and put a red flag to IDAX exchange. So as of now, it's better that we should inform the community to avoid the exchange because of their behavior.

This is not a good situation especially for noobs. The issue with Idax.pro has really affected many projects especially IEOs. Their exchange was becoming a popular platform where many projects launch their  first IEOs. The news on the scam that occurred between Idax.pro and popular projects like CMA has really destroyed the exchange's reputation. Unfortunately some traders are still using the trading platform since they are not aware of the  real details.
for cma in my opinion is strange because they still let idax listing cma tokens, should if they have been harmed by this case they will tell idax to remove tokens from this exchange, not let them

Still have understood why the project that accused idax of scam is also listed on the same exchange and being promoted, it would be been perfect that CMA had explained in details what transpired and on what conditions the project is listed. Personally I have lost interest in the exchange and will not use it as trading exchange

This is one good thing about IEO's, at least I am certain a lot of persons will avoid any IEO listed on idax because of these bad reputations. This is the main reason I will always give it to IEO's over ICO. Idax should clear their mess before I would ever thin of using their exchange

I am done on this, IDAX.PRO make their self clear on about fixing the problem.
At first i though IDAX is not good anymore but they did everything.
Nowi think everything is fixed and even on CMA and now listed on IDAX.

Few IEO projects refused to come out in the open and talk against Idax act of scamming IEO projects, xcrypt was among but i was disappointed that xcrypt teams refused to go against idax exchange until CryproMarketAds faced them and xcrypt voiced out then but its too late for xcrypt

I was surprised as well that CMA that once called Idax a scam exchange later surrender and embrace the exchange,i heard that some powerful people in the shadows are backing idax exchange?im wondering whats going to happen in the future if more exchanges like idax keep existing, this kind of threat can kill IEO if care is not taken

so now you are listed on that ( scam exchange ) which you even evidence that they are scammers?

I had to visit their twitter just to confirm this. I cannot believe people from CMA who were once hell-bent on exposing the scams of Idax is now listed there and even promoting it. Idax must have given them a good deal. Money talks doesn't it CMA?   Cheesy

Idax exchange has been problematic for the first time.
If I am not mistaken, there was a problem with the CMA project and until now the case has not been resolved by IDAX. And now idax has another problem with another project, it's really an exchange that must be watched out for other projects if you want to do IEO there.

Hi, Crypto community,

Just letting you know that 5th company went out and told about IDAX.pro scam:

https://medium.com/@xcryptclub/xcrypt-important-update-33c784e4eb58

Also, this is what CoinMarketCap says and will do nothing, even ignore voice call evidence:

Answer from <[email protected]>:

Thank you for sharing your findings. If we are able to independently verify the information, we may consider issuing an alert on the page. We appreciate where you are coming from, especially since it springs from good intentions.

Even though we try our best to verify the data with the projects on our site, we are not in the practice of censoring or policing others as that would be antithetical to the raison d'être of the decentralization movement - self-sovereignty. In an open ecosystem like the one we are in, we believe that the best policy – that we follow closely – is to over-provide on data and let users make their own informed choices about what to do with that data.

Consequently, the presence of a project on our site does not constitute an implicit endorsement of its merits.

We have always encouraged our users to perform their own due diligence (https://coinmarketcap.com/disclaimer/).

This is particularly important because the unregulated and cross-border nature of this space makes it difficult to seek recourse.

Self-curated screenshots and/or social media/forum posts of unknown provenance are difficult to verify because they can be doctored or orchestrated via sybil attacks/sock puppets. It is not that we are impugning your intentions, but we have to be mindful that a preponderance of “evidence” does not always confer truth.

Consider the following case: A complainant claims that an exchange had stolen his funds and furnishes screenshots of the ‘pending withdrawal’ status dating several weeks back. Even if we were to assume that the screenshots were genuine, it is not easy to ascertain whether the impeded withdrawals were a consequence of malicious intent on the exchange’s part or account termination/freezing policies that the complainant had triggered through his own actions.

However, we understand that these concerns are valid and have implications on the community and the impressions that people have about the crypto space. Going a step further, we will be progressively updating our site to be even more in line with our view that users should be given the power to experience and use the data in a way that fits their needs most.

Underscoring our commitment to remaining neutral by avoiding censorship and judgement of the (de)merits of specific projects, we believe that there is value in publishing a wider array of data points to enrich the decision-making process of our users. You may have noticed that we recently added a ‘Ratings’ tab on our site. Going forward, and in the spirit of mitigating centralized points of failure, you can expect to see additional data sources. One example would be adding metrics to evaluate exchanges such as liquidity measures, hot/cold wallet balances, and traffic data. For instance, if an exchange with low traffic has $300M volume and just 5 BTC in its wallet, users will be able to draw their own conclusions without the need for us to make arbitrary judgment calls on what is 'good' or 'bad'.
