Subdivided scam forums would just ensure no one ever sees the scam accusation threads.

There is an "archive" subforum, isn't it for such old things that need to be stored somewhere else?

And the forum don't moderate scams, so I think no scam folder will be made

Having such option would induce fake sense of security on the services that are not in the "scam" folder, and also it would move the outstanding issues that
the service has away from view, instead of being opened and in plain sight so that everyone can see what the problem with the service is.
imho, keeping it transparent and in sight as it is , is doing more good than it presents issues, so i think we should leave it as it is.

cheers

Just a small idea maybe to have control more over each section having its own scam folder or closed and no longer in operation for the trades sections hardware and investment games gambling sites. This way would be a lot more laid out than people just marking scam and it being cluttered up. This way topic can be closed and moved and put into scam section of that section of the forums where if mods are active can move posts into it or have a set mod to keep members aware and move stuff into it. That way it frees up the legit and paying sections and keeps the scams or problem sites in its own section.

How do you decide if something is a scam or not? If they have not scammed yet there is almost no way to know 100% if they are going to scam and 100% confirmed scammers get red negative trust and just leave the forum, i mean no one would try to promote a website that has already been marked as scam in the forum.
Well Cloudthink has been marked as a scam but they still actively promote themselves on the forum and people still do stuff to promote them. Just look in the services section and you will see a few threads with them offereing Bitcoin for people to promote their website.

Well as most scams are where it is unpaid or missing payments, site down and not accessible, admin inactive on thread, among fake payments made by admins a lot can be done to prove a site is scamming or being in the pozi filed that is soon to turn to scam and no loner paying. Having such sections would be a lot of work indeed but it would make things a lot safer for newbies or people who do not understand fully or jump in without first reading.

Having a sub-section for closed threads on every category would probably make sense, but that would be a lot of work for moderators. I'm not sure if it would be worth it. If users followed the guidelines and edited the title with [Closed] and locked the threads it wouldn't be required at all.
Regarding moving scams to that new sub-section I don't think it will ever happen because scams are not moderated. Mods can't (must not) lock or delete a thread if they think it's a scam and they certainly wouldn't be able to move the threads to that new section.
