Topic: [Idea] RateMe type picture website (Read 1160 times)

First, thanks Ladybytes you are like a legend in the btc community so I'm humbled for your feedback.  I suppose the "big" picture is to get beautiful  girls interested in bitcoins for bitcoins really quickly ( up and going ). I think that would be the ultimate goal. Obviously, the viewers would see very pretty girls  even if they are clothed.  


I know, I know but I suppose a rating system would bring out the best in a girl wouldn't it ?  

Maybe I don't understand the Decrypto reddit thread but essentially its the same concept girls get upvoted because people like what they see correct ? I think the "type" of girl would be more aimed at  "college girls"  I would think  - who just want to upload a picture , get rated and win a bounty of btc and not always have to go through the hassle of getting a firstbits addresses right away. They can still get a first bits address for tips if they want.

Maybe we should start some sort of consortium where these ideas are hashed out amongst each other for the better good of the community. Obviously, I was pushed aside early on by Julian and the GirlsGoneBitcoin crowd  which was a shame so don't know what to say.

In the meantime, I'll do a screenshot of the idea and post it here for you so you can get a better idea what I had in mind.

So what's the point of the website? What do viewers actually get out of it? I don't mean to rain on any parades, but I like your presence in our btc community, and i think your ideas are generally pretty on spot. I'm just not grasping the big picture/future goal of this project.


...she "wins" because she's hot? where's the challenge in that? i feel that a rating system implies certain beauty is better than other types of beauty...and you may want to consider what type of pool of women you want to attract before moving ahead with this. we (btc community) are at a delicate/transformative time in development/establishing equality and i would hate to see the opportunity ruined... patience is a virtue

Yes, that is the idea I had also.  Where you vote up and then evenly distribute the proceeds accordingly ...good thinking!

If I can round up some bitcoins sure    right, now I found some free php code that seems to be working so far thing is you are allowed to vote twice which is odd haha

I looked up a few rating systems (like ELO) - I would find it interesting to give your result a higher weight by sending bitcoins along with your choice. This money could then be distributed according to rating after some time for example.

What do you think of paying a bitcoiner to develop the website for you? You know...like me?

Was thinking of using my girlsgonebitcoin.info  domain to create a rate-me type of website so girls can post their pictures with firstbits address and people can rate their pictures/ bitcoin tip them of course - anyone think this is a good idea? it would be in a picture carousel format with ratings, ratings total, and of course the rating you gave. Also, I would add some gamafication that top rated girl can get the "bounty pool" or somehing like that.

Just was looking for thoughts and feedback before developing it if people think its a good idea ?
