Well, my interest in this site is that I would be able to publish a Propster.me tip jar for each musician. Propster is a site dedicated to collect money for people on behalf of fans.

How many times you walked by a street musician, liked the music, but afterwards couldn't look them up to recommend them to your friends ?  I propose to build a website like this -- where youtube recordings of street musicians are catalogued, and eventually, someone would post their contact info.

But they could post a giant btc qr code that people could scan and send funds with their cell phones. 1 out of every 1000 persons may have a wallet app. What do others think about the rate of mobile wallets to population?

There are different types of street musicians. Some have their own websites. Encourage them to accept bitcoin and advertise it. Maybe one will write a hit song about BTC. There are also homeless entertainers. I'm not sure how ethical (in toay's society) to advocate for them because some may exploit them through fraud.

Maybe someone like casascius should make charity bills with seals that you only break when a good balance is achieved. The person could then cash it in with a local charity organization for fiat.

Thats a shame. never knew they closed. I guess the widespread adoption of bitcoin is required for something as niche as that to properly catch on.

This was the pivot that YouTipIt tried.  They've since closed, but they provided a flyer with details and a QR code that the musician would print and present.

Well, a tip jar could be placed on a musicians page, and people could contribute money to him.
