I liked the idea someone had of making a hardware price ticker.
Those sorts of simple ideas are good and cheap to produce.

Hi all,

First off, this is a legitimate question; I'm currently unemployed, and very, very bored... I'm also infatuated with Bitcoins. As such, I've decided to start a software-dev project, and focus on BITCOIN! I realize that I'm coming off as a pathetic newb, but I legitimately want some ideas for a project to work on... I'm a fairly talented programmer, and I love challenging myself.

So, what sort of software would you love to have (that is bitcoin-related of course)? I was thinking of perhaps developing a slick suite of widgets for Windows 7 and 8 Desktops, which would monitor bitcoin prices, trade volume, etc... I like doing stuff that is centered around data-analysis, so maybe some sort of blockchain analyzing software?

You have the wheel! Best idea will be made into a reality. Thanks guys.
