Probably because they have something better to do, or just because OP is not claiming any profit per hour so i would not consider it "exactly" a scam, although highly unmoral. Would be different if you could assign the Mh/s on some other coin, but i suppose OP did this thread just in purpose of scamming. Also he is a newbie so he has nothing to lose.

Next time use a calculator like coinwarz ETH mining profability before buying such a service. Gladly it was only around 0.8$ loss and not more. Be more careful.
