I think not all IEO can end well, a few days ago it happened in a large exchange place like Bitrex which held an IEO program for its members but after that the price of tokens offered became very cheap and made a lot of losses for the participants.

This new IEO thing doesn't give out guaranteed profits yet investments would be most likely a gamble.The good thing here on IEO compared to ICO is that
the tokens is already listed on certain exchange unlike on ICO which after they finished they do still seek out for exchange listing.
IEO is prone to manipulation or dump so if you do able to get in on the IEO sale then better secure it out once its been traded and don't wait for the dump.

The very best thing about IEO is its the best thing than ICO in so many ways like for example after the IEO you can really use your coin whether you want to sell it or you want to hold it there's no need to wait more than 6 months just to sell it on its worst price, you know what i mean.

I think not all IEO can end well, a few days ago it happened in a large exchange place like Bitrex which held an IEO program for its members but after that the price of tokens offered became very cheap and made a lot of losses for the participants.

Basically they're all the same since they serve the same mission and go by the same operations but their fund raising methods have just changed somehow. IEOs are somehow "secure" than ICOs since some of the exchanges are reputable as hence conduct appropriate scrutinization before listing!

I agree with you, different from ico which is held by the token publisher. And the IEO is a way to collect fundraising through the exchange. And it is very sure in the IEO concept for me.to avoid fake work. so IEO is very effective for me. to protect assets......

ICOs are only distributing some percentage from the total amount of available amount for crowdsale to the exchange site. The exchange site will take an ico based on its research if there was an ico has filled all of requirements and ico will try to contact it directly to create a cooperation. IEO have it's advantage since it is already listed in exchanges, but the risk is always there when we don't invested in time to research it and if we must learn to research may it be in ICO or in IEO cause it still depend on the project if it will succeed.

You're right. It is guarantees for investors and for other actors on the cryptocurrency market that make IEO different from ico. But since there are rather strict requirements for the first projects to conduct IEO, then the ico company market activity will still be in demand.

Well you can always check IEO on binance, because i'm sure binance only choose a good project to get an IEO on their site. Not all of them are a good project but mostly are good.

IEO advantage is it's easier to buy, more cheaper (transaction fee) and also investor don't need afraid.

Well, nothing different that much about IEO and ICO, they are same way of crowd funding, but just that IEO is a regulated one which makes it quite difficult for scammers to scam investors through fake projects and bad products.

Naturally, ICO is still the best, but for scammers, we just have no choice than to stick with IEO and even with IEO, we still have to be careful not to rely on exchanges to do the research for us alone, but we still have to do our own research because not all exchanges know how to carry out the IEO project properly, I only trust Binance with this IEO project and maybe Bittrex.

Ieo is an ico through a middleman (the exchange) service. It's safer than normal icos, as was said, but it makes the whole process more centralized and non anonymous, as you will probably have to give your personal informations to the exchange in order to participate the ieo.
However it doesn't mean it will be more profitable, the advantage is that you can be sure the currency will be listed on the exchange, different from what was happening to many fail icos around.

the goal is the same which is to get money from investors. the difference is, the IEO is provided directly by the exchange market and is complete with KYC requirements and available trading. whereas ICO is not like that. overall the IEO is very superior.
on the other hand there is a clear similarity that is for the scale of risk, the price at the market will definitely not be the same as the selling price (can go up can go down, definitely more down again), IEO and ICO remain the same, will not promise you a better profit.
IEO is more safe, OK! but we must still careful.

Initial exchange offerings (IEO) are a little bit more trusted than the ICOs,especially if the IEO is backed by a big and trusted cryptocurrency exchange platform.However,IEOs from small and unknown crypto trading platforms are as shady and suspicious as the ICOs.
For me,ICOs are more like crypto crowdfunding and IEOs are something like crypto exchange platform IPOs(without stocks).

IEO means their token sale will be advertised by exchanges and ICO means the project team itself advertise it through bounties and like these things.But both were literally same they are selling their tokens with the different advertisement strategy.

If you believe the reputation of exchange and invest on an IEO then you are risking your money and no issue o=for that exchange if you make profits or losses.

Sure, some are more legal than others, some are more riskier than others, if you think being legal and vetted means you are safe,,, but in the end they are all the same. Look at Bittrex IEOs the past 2 were dumped so much people lost 85% in 2 days.

IEO stands for Initial Exchange Offering started by Binance. No need for that token to wait until they get listed to an exchange because the exchange where they held that offering is the one that will list it after the sale.
