If Bitcoin crashed and burned would it most likely be the end of all Crypto currency ?
What you are saying does not match your implications, bitcoin has crashed before and it was not the end for cryptocurrencies, in fact crypto came back way stronger as we are seeing right now, now if bitcoin disappeared that will be another story, it seems very likely that if bitcoin completely collapsed that most of the alts will disappear as well and only a handful of projects will survive.

I don’t think cryptocurrencies are going away at all. This technology will soon be woven into the fabric of cutting edge technology. We have altcoins that are being used for smart contracts, IOT applications, communications, etc.

Even if Bitcoin didn’t survive for some reason, there is a place for this technology in the future. If anything, the reason that Bitcoin could fail is because of newer and better cryptocurrencies that solve some problems such as scalability and high fees.

if bitcoin is crashed, then people will sell their bitcoin and the price will be down too deep. people don't want to lose their money so they will cut loss their bitcoin although they know that bitcoin can increase again, they only think that how they can get their money back. but I don't think that many people will let this happen, they will support bitcoin to not down too deep so bitcoin can stay survive.

If Bitcoin crashed and burned would it most likely be the end of all Crypto currency ?

If bitcoin really do burn out, I think that will not stop the crypto from proceeding. There are a lot of crypto as of today, the 2nd to bitcoin is an example, ETH has so many investors that I think they will continue to support even without bitcoin. Most of the people who support ETH is really focusing on how to obtain them. so I think if bitcoin will fall, ETh will rise.

Bitcoin = e-mail
Ethereum = internet

The internet can survive without e-mail

Edit:  In my opinion the above analogy should look more like this

Bitcoin = e-mail
Blockchain = internet

I agree, thanks for the correction

IF? For what reason if?

If there was a nuclear war Bitcoin would certainly crash and burn. But then ... so would the rest of the world. Outside of war or governments killing people owning crypto - there is nothing to stop the rise of BTC and other crypto.

all altcoin will be corrupted, moreover altcoin which need bitcoin as the exchanger, but the cryptocurrency world never ends, there will be another platform to save the altcoin as BCH or Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, i think ethereum will change the position of bitcoin if it happened.

If bitcoin should crash again it will lead to overinvestment and wild speculation.
Have anyone already checked https://mytc.io/ ? If I understand it correctly I could get tokens just cooperating with their sponsors. Like cashback or I don’t know. But the main idea is great. Is it safe?

I think most of the price crash was made by sharks, it made the newcomers of Bitcoins become broke by losing money.

You mean whales?
Anyway I agree, there is more market manipulation hapnnening here than I'd like to admit

Considering its volatility we will see many times that bitcoin rises and then falls back. Just in 2 days we first saw how it rose till 11000+ and then the next day it went as low as 9500$. Now it has again started to rise and reached 10550$. So this fluctuations keep happening frequently and its a time factor that how quickly it can recover form the the crash.

I buy when it comes low, I keep buying at lowest support of price, I only sell when i need, as far as i have money i will keep buying and able to have such more bitcoins, im doing this for a reason, I've been using this for years and witness of it growth and solved my poor life.Price doesnt matter to me anymore because i know when it came down it will double rise up and proven for all people that every problem can be solved if you trust self just like trusting bitcoin to high up sky! 💱💲

Even if it happens there will be not an end of crypto currency. People now realize that crypto is something great, and nothing can stop this process.

Absolutely no.  Because there are more crypto out there,  the top 10 crypto are just waiting to the end of this bitcoin to be on top/replace bitcoin in the future. Furthermore when this bitcoin crashed and get to its end crypto currency are still alive because those altcoin has its own blockchain like bitcoin so the flow of crypto are still on going.

If bitcoin should crash again it will lead to overinvestment and wild speculation. And because bubbles inevitably crash and once that happens, the losses can ripple out in unexpected ways. If you were lucky enough, or smart enough, to load up on some bitcoins early, you will be feeling a lot wealthier heading into the summer.

We can only guess what will be with market. But what will be with world economy if dollar price will crash? We can only imagine, but what will be in real life — knows nobody. And both this currencies haven't got any basic value, as many sceptics like to said, but BTC have enthusiasts community. What about USD?

If Bitcoin crashed and burned would it most likely be the end of all Crypto currency ?
There are thousands of cryptocurrencies available in the market. Every now and then you will see a new ICO . At this stage bitcoin is around $163,037,447,966   worth market capital. It is not that easy to crash a currency worth that much and spread all over  world. Sometimes crashing a company or currency is somewhat easy compared to the entity spread across multiple continents.
Even if someone tries to crash the bitcoin in US or europe, markets from other part of world will happily cash in for the opportunity.

Interesting, and there's any esdtimated time for this to happen ? I haven't heard about that, would be the end of any cryptocoin.

It's a lot closer than you think.

https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/7xwz7b/53-qubit-quantum-simulator-computer

Thanks Vod,

Amazing how fragile things are in a blink of eyes.
By this I think I need to read some more about what quantum computers are capable to do, thanks again for the input.

Crypto is here to stay.

Only until quantum computing, which isn't that far away...

Yeah about that.
Will the invention of Wuantum comuputing not also mean that MINERS will use quantum computing as well,
making it harder to hack the chain?

No, you just hash the private key of any address you want.

It happened a lot of times and usually when bitcoin crashes, the money is only transferred over to other altcoins e.g. Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and the likes. Having said that, if there would be a huge crash impending, the money would just be tossed back and forth, then will go back to bitcoin (which was the case now for almost a year) after traders already achieved profit.

to the point. And BTC seems to come back stronger from every crash

If Bitcoin were to crash it will likely take a lot of Altcoins with it (especially the forks). It would take quite a while for the system to recover because Bitcoin is like the mother to the other coins. Bitcoin is used as a central currency when it comes to buying coins, ICOs, trading, bots etc.

Etherium would probably take over and prices will come back a little.

Chances are, price of other cryptocurrencies will crash too due to trading pairs usually being BTC:altcoin and not USD:altcoin. But it doesn't necessarily mean it will be the "end" of cryptocurrencies; prices will just be significantly lower for some time. Price is not an indicator of a coin's success; it just shows the demand on a certain coin.
