Absolutely true, the purpose of life struggle is to be able to solve critical and none critical problems we encounter on a daily basis.
It is very rare to have a friend in need, even some blood relatives sometimes look the other way.
@OP I hope for both of them to be well and strong on their feet to go about doing what they love doing. Health they say is wealth, only of you are healthy should you be able to pursue life vanity.  I wish them speedy recovery.

Yeah menh, life is the basic purpose because the whole point having these investment in the first place is save, help and support our love ones in the journey of life. Op please you did a very wonderful think because in every thing we are doing life is the most important of them all and you selling your coins to save a soul is just wonderful. Every other thing in this world can be gotten back but human life is precious and if lost its gone forever. But I also pray one should have to go through such problems but the bitter truth still remains that its all under the basic setting of life to experience these thing's.

you have done the right thing, one of the investment goals is helping people, friends, and family in trouble. you will get happiness after aiding it with your savings. I really respect to you and hope God gives back your btc multiple times in the future. I also pray your cousins are back to health and you can play together with him. Amin.

what the OP did was already priceless even if he say, it was not much. you can always find those money later on. but the life of your friend or your cousin won't be the same again if in case you haven't helped.
let's remember that we can always work to find money, but the lives we have had impact on will live forever. because these material things are just temporary. no man ever has the immortality. we are all going to one destination.

Sorry to hear that mate, actually I had the same case with you, 2 years ago, my sister suddenly fell and we thought it was a heart attack and we brought her to the hospital, it was still in the heart of the pandemic, so you can't just go visit the hospital that time. And then after a whole week, we finally get her out of the hospital. But we have to foot the bill obviously, so I have to sell some of my BTC stash to help her, and I didn't second thoughts of selling that time and the timing was perfect as we are in the bull run, regardless though, I will sell no matter what. Unfortunately, as a result of her being hospitalized, lots of findings pops up, including cancer that is in the advantage stage. And last year in November she passed away (sold some again). For sure, positive karma will go on your way and I will pray for your cousins speedy recovery.

I am sorry to hear the story.  I agree that when there is a life-threatening situation and we need funds to solve it, it is not a wrong move to sell your BTC.  Besides just as you said, investment can reinvested when pulled out but the life of a person will never go back once it's gone. 

I hope your friend and your cousin will recover soon.  And for the expenses, you can probably seek help to some government agency that tackles problem like that, and it may help reduce your hospital bills and at the same time may give you some financial assistance for your cousin's recovery.

There had been lots of recorded charities where Bitcoin is used as the main donating currency especially those cross border donations since they BTC can be transfered instantly unlike if it pass through banks and other financial institution which oftentimes take days to be credited.

Sorry that your friend and cousin are in critical medical conditions.  I wish them speedy recovery, I have learnt that good health is highly underrated. You did a good thing OP, I know it’s not easy to let go of an investment you have been saving for so long but I believe it was worth. Money come and go, at the end of the day it’s the people we love that really matters.

For over a months now my cousin has been in the hospital in coma. We have spend almost all we had for his treat, he fell down in a field where they're playing football and he was rush to hospital half dead, doctor said he have kidney failure. So I often go there to check on him and spent sometimes.

Last week Friday I went their as usual to the ward where is responding to treatment, on my arrival I saw my best friend rushed to the same hospital same ward as a result of gastric motor accident on his way traveling for a journey. When I saw his situations I couldn't move my legs, doctors are shaking their heads refusing to treat him, I didn't know when tears came out from my eyes. Several test was carried out from his body which doctors confirmed he has sustain a lot of internal injuries that he may not survive it. But we put in faith that they start treatment, the bill charged was so high to start treatment because they needed to invites my medical expertise outside the hospital.

So friends, on my own account I need to do something to support, do anything I can to support but I was very well on me, like am dammed broke because of my cousin experience inclusive, but they I had no choice than to sold my btc as soon as possible, though is not much but I prefer his life to be save than my investment, so I gave everything and support the parents of my friend. Am just dam empty but I pray for their quick recovery.

As for my investment I can always replace it in time coming, life can not be replace when is loss. Am grateful I have project like Bitcoin that has supported me on several occasions. Please pray for them.
