As people have already said you can just use decimals. I highly doubt BTC will ever lead the world's currency, maybe something based around BTC though.

You use decimal?

You can use 0.0000001 btc without problems.

Bitcoin can't go anywhere until the problem of robber is solved. Would you sell anything to someone offering to pay by cas in the post? No way Hoze, bitcoin is a marginal novely until thats fixed

Gibs me some bitcoin and I'll show you all how.

Lots of people sell things for cash all around the world

ps:and i believe it's spelled more like José

Yeah, but not by post. How many people post cahs to strangers for good? No one, cus it's stupid, cus you get robbed too easily. Just like bitcoin.

You can't use bitcoin for anything yet, its a white elephant!

Also my middle name is Hoze!

If BTC was the world's leading currency...

Government can't put tax (or charge, I'm not sure about the verb) on it.
Black market will have an intractable currency.
We can have transactions with no one know about it, so we will me more free. But do we really want to be free ?

I don't think BTC can be the world's leading currency. But it could be the black market's leading currency. And everybody can buy and sell on black market.

Thanks, I was really not happy with the "newbie should have 100 messages to post in the main forum" policy.

Now, I'm convinced.

If BTC was the world's leading currency and worth a million or so USD, how would people really deal with buying very inexpensive things (<0.5 usd)? Would we have to move the decimal places so that 1 old BTC  = 100,000 New BTC or something?
