If they sort ALL their shit out? USD withdrawals, better PR, possibly a new CEO, no lawsuits, a new trading engine...

For me the answer would probably be yes. I'm a European and they offer the best euro market with the highest liquidity. For people who don't really want to be exposed to the euro/USD exchange risk Gox is really the only way to go.

If they get through all this, this would also mean for me they are able to get through anything, and for me that means a lot.

I never verified my account @ MtGox Smiley

I will never use them.

I don't think the weight of this situation has really hit a lot of people here quite yet. Before you start thinking about "ever using them again", let's focus on the current and then cross that bridge when we get there.

Mtgox is in very deep on multiple levels, in order to "save" this company not only would it take a PR miracle, the entire trading engine would have to be updated. If a company were to come in and clean up the image not only would they have to take on all of the lawsuits, regulation follow up, office space situation, and develop a brand new trading engine, they would have to deal with digging out of the negative reputation that has been deeply rooted into its customers.

Why not just invest all of those resources into opening a newer, better exchange? No need to keep dinosaurs alive, we can always revisit them in the museum Wink

Definitely not.

Even if they're not actually scamming anyone, they have shown to be both unreliable and highly unprofessional.
