I hope you did buy the 5 Bitcoins and did not stall on it. Even now, anyone not buying a few Bitcoins will truly regret because the world around them will rise up leaving them behind.
Bitcoin is the new money and people are starting to get it. They can either keep the toilet paper fiat or exchange it for 'real' money which is Bitcoin.
I bet MOST of the new funds coming into Bitcoin is not common people but rather investors who have smarted up after putting their head in sands for the past 5 years or more. They don't like a new game coming into town and learning new things and prefer their old ways, which is going to become obsolete.
The funds from common people will follow post the 2020 halving raising Bitcoin to new levels unimaginable at this time.

Just like most people here, I am quite sure that the price will continue to increase in the coming years, but it isn't smart to set yourself such targets at this early stage.
I say just buy how much you can afford, and then leave them in cold storage for a few years ~ after a few years you can set yourself the right targets based on how the price is at that time.

Both ways OP will be disappointed, it's only a matter of time. Either if he buys now and 5 years later BTC price did not meet expectations (even losses may occur), or 5 years later (maybe before) price target is reached, OP sells and watches in another set of 5 years price skyrockets and they "reaped" only $75.000.

That does not guarantee that in 5 years it will be $ 15,000 because we can not predict it, the bitcoin price could be higher or it could be lower than that. But obviously if you buy 5 bitcoin today certainly in the next 5 years the price will rise high and you will get a profit from your investment. That's a good idea, buddy.

Easy to give advice when not to invest their money. 5 years is quite a long term investment. Nobody now can predict the behavior of bitcoin at this distance. Be prepared to lose the money or take them out faster and leave as investment income.

5 bitcoins today is around 13000$, and in 5 years 5 bitcoins can worth 26000$ or 75000$, but who can guarantee that. I'm sure that here in forum there is many people who hold much more coins, and they hold for a long time and they don't plan to stop any time soon. Price will go up, and that is in what most of us here believe, if OP have 13000 on a side and he doesn't know where to invest it then he should buy bitcoins for his money.

No it shouldn't be the way to invest in bitcoin.
yes bitcoin price may reach 10K, 15K or even more but you shouldn't only be thinking about how much "fiat" you gain from investing in bitcoin. that is never going to end well. instead learn more about what bitcoin is.
bit coins is a currency not something you put your money in for a short time to get rich. try using bitcoin to buy some stuff, try to learn more and see what it really offers. i assure you that you won't regret it.
and then the profit is just icing on the cake.
These newbies don't plan to use bitcoin as money, they buy it baited with bitcoin's store value properties.

Well seems like 5 years is too long to wait for the oppurtunity to profit. Because if we think about it, many things could happen in that 5 years and its not easy to just idle money somewhere that may not be safe at all. Chances are you'd gonna need cash during financial crisis because its not always that btc will be at the top. Also a lot of good altcoins with good uses are becoming famous lately. So probably there might be some adoptations of bitcoin that can become more utilized than the btc itself. Fo me, i could wait a year but 5 years is just too much blind hope.

There is no guarantee that the price of bitcoin will double a few years from now, but according to the price valuation it might rise a lot five years from now,that is just a speculation and an assumption,always have your eye in where ever you invest.
But as we are reaching the total supply limit, demand will increase and few bitcoins will circulate in the market. There's a chance that the price of bitcoin can get up higher than Op's expectation but I don't have timeframe on when it's going to happen. This is more of speculation rather than discussion in my own opinion because you are not certain this is what will happen at the end of five years, your 5 bitcoin could even worth less than what it is now but at the same time, all factors point to the fact that your speculation might come through that there will be an increase but staying through to that word of 5 years will involve a lot commitment and staying away from the forum because that might militate against holding that far.

Well, bitcoin has surely raised it's value a lot ! It has also suffered a loss once, but came back and passed the value that it had before the loss ! For starters, you should invest at your own risk, so if you have money to invest in 5 btc, that will not make you crippled for money, go for it, otherwise, think again !

Well about 4 months ago I bought some bitcoins at $1000 and now it is valued at +/- $2500. If I am optimistic I could say that buying bitcoin at $2500 today, should put me at $5500 in the next 4 months, which would not be realistic and pure guess work. We can project as much as we want, but we will never know what will happen in the future. One thing I do know is, my investment of $423 into bitcoins, was one of the best investments I have ever made.

That can't be sure but possible...as we can see bitcoins had been increasing on value continously and becoming more popular as time passes but no one would know until when will btc be progressive this way. As we all know all cryptos have their dump and pump period.

Yes its correct, but for me its not a good way to earn a big profit in the future. We are not sure that we can get that profit because in this world there's no permanent things. We always think a positive result but how about the other side? If bitcoin down, what will we do?this is the way that I should invest or not?
For me, if I buy 5 btc today much better to sell this if they have a sure income and I don't want to wait a year for more profit, its enough that I have an income. This is because I got an income in short period of time without waiting of more years.

That is good idea to invest in cryptocoins at this point but i think bitcoin price is already too high for investing a middle class person so if you think about investing in crypto than litecoin is best option for you at this point

How to be sure about that? Bitcoin is absolutely near the top price so that it may not grow up to that the chance for Bitcoin to grow up like that is so small. At least, if you have money now, you can still invest in Bitcoin but I think you should lower your expected profits. this is the way that I should invest or not?

No it shouldn't be the way to invest in bitcoin.
yes bitcoin price may reach 10K, 15K or even more but you shouldn't only be thinking about how much "fiat" you gain from investing in bitcoin. that is never going to end well. instead learn more about what bitcoin is.
bit coins is a currency not something you put your money in for a short time to get rich. try using bitcoin to buy some stuff, try to learn more and see what it really offers. i assure you that you won't regret it.
and then the profit is just icing on the cake.

You've got the maximum chance of getting such a big profit. But as there is none to give assurance because of the uncertain and decentralized functioning. So keep trust in it and buy that you can afford and the profit will all be yours. There are several predictionthat has stated that bitcoin could reach as high as $5000000 in ten years.

There is no guarantee of course, we predict it to keep rising at this forum and generally in the community but it's not guaranteed, when you make an investment with $12,500 for x6 you would need to have some risk on that investment, which is the case with this uncertainty.

Absolutely correct. But as a disclaimer I am not a professional financial adviser and you should only invest what you are willing to risk losing. But in five years with Bitcoin at $15,000 you stand to profit $62,500 if you bought it five Bitcoin at $2,500.
