I really don't get to think much on lost chances nor do I blame people about it. Even if the time were to be reversed, the chances are that you might have made the same exact choice as, you still won't have known better and the elements to thwart your decisions would still be there and very much active too.When it comes to bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general, some of the questions has been to how real it is and it is sad really. That people seem to center their believes or ideas of what is real with something tangible. You know forgetting that there are context to things and on the part of digitalised nature of things, bitcoin or cryptocurrencies is as real as it gets.
Ideas have been a distinctive factor between investors and the many struggling today. Of course finance can play a role but mainly, your ideas and that could be more of the reason why you @OP didn't take the leap. The goodnews is, its not late now.

You are not alone in this forum because I bet there's somebody out there too who wasted some of their precious time neglecting bitcoin despite the fact that it was already introduced to them few years ago. Even me, I only started working and knowing more about this crypto stuff more than 3 years after it was introduced to me and believe me, I understand the feeling.

Have you learned about security because from your post you said non can stole your bitcoin. I must say without appropriate security measures your bitcoin could get likely taken away from you. I believe there are lots of things you really needs to learn just that you are claiming to know it all. Well the best is, just humble yourself and read lot of post to study and know more history about bitcoin.

Why not? Whether it's going to succeed or not, bitcoin already changed the life of a lot of people, just think about the early adopters, many of them were just kids when bitcoin came out, those who had the ability to understand it and some bravery to actually buy it (even if it was worth a few dollars) now probably are in a way better situation than the 99.9% of their friends and family. Is it a life changer for everyone? Of course not, is it for some? Yes!

Aren't we all? I mean, from being here for years already, I am aware that there's lot more to learn in this technology. Also even if Bitcoin has advantages over fiat, the other way around still is there; widely accepted and has a more stable value which makes it more convenient to use on a daily basis, without regrets or worrying from doing such thing. Pitential of this technology is well known but but why is it that this blockchain is not being used on a regular basis for daily purchases? 'coz people who owns an amount are more expecting profit from it than as a usual digital currency. And for now, that is simply how this technology would work. Maybe what the OP meant was what was explained on this site zipmex.com. Because on the site it is explained that what has been hacked is a wallet containing Bitcoin and on average these wallets are software wallets so the OP assumes that Bitcoin itself has never been hacked before as long as it is stored in a wallet that is completely safe and maybe an explanation in the article it can enlighten you a little about what the OP wrote.but I don't understand when you say that bitcoin cannot be stolen, what is your reason, I want to hear it, I hope it is useful for me,,

OP you need to understand that time doesn't make any difference for a determined person. A lot of people in the market are losing their bitcoin on daily basis because they're not determined to hodl their coins. I'd say that your stay here in few months would erased all the blames you have on yourself. The forum will level up your thoughts, through the numerous information provided here, to purchase more bitcoin even while thinking you're late. Everyone who didn't get bitcoin for free 13 years ago can consider themselves late comers, but that doesn't mean that people who joined last year haven't made more profits too. Imaging a person who bought 2 bitcoin at 16k each has made over 10k profits within a small period. Like everyone has said, no such thing as "had I known" in the community or market. Ok, now you've known start doing something from there.

It may be true that it cost you a chance to change your life, but there are no guarantees. I used to know a lot of people who were also amazed by bitcoin, especially by its lack of censorship. Many people have missed opportunities in the past, like OP, and I believe that if you or any of us knew about bitcoin at the time, we would also choose to ignore it. OP feels regret because he has now seen its success, not because he didn't learn about it, it was just an argument to deny his mistake. I missed the opportunity by not investing in bitcoin in 2014, it was because I didn't trust bitcoin enough. But I have never regretted that no one knows the future.

I am confused with your point but i think that if you found Bitcointalk.org earlier meaning you invest earlier in bitcoin it is lot changing. This was very famous on those person whos supposed to be know bitcoin but again people dont invest on it as they dont trust it but again there is no late meaning you can still buy bitcoin and gain profit. Unfortunatelly there are still many people who think digital money isn't real and that Bitcoin is a big ponzi scheme, without any intrinsic value, so they insist in wasting time and also money, because they prefer to let it in fiat stored in saving accounts which generate interest below the inflation. You took 6 years to wake up, while others are still sleeping after 14 years and wishing Bitcoin dies, so they can finally say: "I knew it! I told you all the time!". Now make sure you don't waste any more time, invest in BTC while it's not too expensive. At least you know about it now and as long as you learn from your mistake, everything is good. It's never too late. If you have some money lying around, invest in bitcoin and keep holding. If you don't, six years later, when you look at the price, you are going to make the same post and start regretting once again. Not a financial advice though. Do your own research. This is true for 99% of people. But... you're still early. Bitcoin is quite cheap right now, so I have to say you've seen the light at a very appropriate time. Buy now with all you have, go all in and you won't regret it.
Just to remind you, 6 years ago, in 2017 Bitcoin was $19k, currently it's $21k. So I haven't earned much with my stash for the last 6 years.

Write your seed phrase or private pin on a piece of paper and keep it safe and never store it electronically.
