it would be the only game in town. ltc would quickly become one of the most exciting coins out there with way more happening than bitcoin. what would bitcoin have to offer other than a higher price which might well erode pretty fast?
However better things takes place bitcoin always hold its value which is not the same with litecoin. What's the need of an porting.
