Bytecoin is one of the dark horses I think) Everyone wants it to be 1$ ) You can buy now for 100$ around 30K of Bytecoins (like i did) and hope to see the price over 1$

After Monero hard forked on April 6th, there are XMR (the new Monero chain) and XMC (original chain).

Supporters of XMC:
Community: AMT community, LoMoStar community
Mining pool: Antpool, Poolin, Frogpool, 91pool, F2POOL
Exchange: CoinEx, Xstar, gate.io
Wallet: LoMoStar

Website: monero-classic.org
Telegram group: t.me/xmccurrency
Twitter:https://twitter.com/xmccurrency

XMC in Exchanges:
CoinEx: https://www.coinex.com/trading?currency=bch&dest=xmc&tab=limit
Gate.io: https://gateio.io/trade/XMC_BTC
Xstar: (trade will be open soon).

Monero Classic team chose to maintain the original chain and did not follow the upgrade initiated by Monero team. We believe the emergence of specialized mining machines for a cryptocurrency is a normal market economy phenomenon and it could greatly improve network security. With specialized mining machines , the events like “Monero was attacked by more than 500,000 botnets” could be avoided. On the opposite, Monero developers' constant change of algorithm creates more centralization.

Dogs were bred and evolved - manually, but there are other natural occurrences as well - from wolves. This doesnt mean that wolves had to die out. If it works, it works. Darwin's theory of evolution kicks in here.

So in a nutshell you could say that you think fluffy pony is a manually bred dog or something, hun?

Lets say there is a coin called Bitcoin..
THEN !
I created right now today a brand NEW coin called "Bitcoin"
..that has no similarity in code.

There is Cryptonote coin named Dashcoin (DSH) and there was Darkcoin (DRK). Then suddenly Darkcoin steal Dashcoin name and become DASH.  No Cryptonote inside.

and there is still monero, bytecoin, bitcoin, DASH/darkcoin and dashcoin the true dash..

maybe its a side effect of open source, decentralization, and being human ( greed, innovation, copycats, FOMO, etc. )

This is a question often posed by altcoin fanatics. It betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of evolutionary theory. To make matters worse, in this particular case, the entire premise of the question is false. So let's knock it on the head right away:

Monero did not evolve from Bytecoin; Monero and Bytecoin both evolved from an extinct common ancestor.

To ask a question of the form ‘If Coin X evolved from Coin Y, how come Coin Y still exists?’ is to misunderstand how evolution works. Entire coins do not evolve into new coins; new coins tend to evolve as isolated offshoots of existing (parent) coins.

In some cases, newly evolved coins can end up out-competing their parent (or sibling) coins, driving them to extinction, but by no means in all cases (ie. in the Monero case). So, even if Coin X evolved from Coin Y, there is no reason why Coin Y should not still exist.

Coins dont change from one in another but new coin takes all from previous one and then start its own path.

As you see TBX was made out of BTC and LTC was made out of TBX. JKC was made out of LTC and LKY was made out of JKC.   DOGE was made out of LKY.

So BTC is  grand grand grand grandfather of DOGE and BTC still exist.  Coins dont die because they have babies, but because no one cares for them.

Lets hammer it home kids..

Let me pose a scenario.

Lets say there is a coin called Bitcoin..
THEN !
I created right now today a brand NEW coin called "Bitcoin"
..that has no similarity in code.

Now what we have is an item that was created BEFORE the other.
with matching names.

Are you all following me here yet ?

The fact you all can not wrap your head around this basic simple concept is disturbing.
Seriously you are all THAT god damn stupid yet rail on like Financial experts all the the time ?

WOW.

i think that somewhere i read that the us dollar evolved from the spanish dollar. people are still holding old coins the same as people still holding byte coins in their wallets.

The words Bytecoin & Bytecoin are the same.

The words Spanish and US are not the same.

Class is out of session. (Tomorrow we work on shapes & numbers)

I figured you would all take my word for it or.. Google it.
So i went on Google for you (to find my own comments)

..you are welcome.

i HAD heard of Bytecoin many years earlier.

What you heard of was probably the original Bitcoin-clone Bytecoin (BTE), not BCN. Different coin.

Don't ever forget.. i am always right  Cool

I like Gold and Bitcoin.

I must admit though I know very little about Tenebrix and Litecoin. Somehow I felt very elitist writing this line. Now if BCX could take it out of everyone's bungholes, we could start "learning" about Tenebrix and Litecoin. Google is a bitch. I hate learning.

I cant tell if you are asking a serious question or not, because im a nice guy ill answer you seriously Smiley.

Just because coin X was forked from coin Y and coin X may be better, the "markets" would disagree. The more options that are out there to make money off of the better they are. Hence part of the reason there was such an influx of alt coins a year or two ago.

Cheap money and greed, thats one of the major factors of why coins still exist. In addition to that, there are other factors such as a coins notoriety. Bitcoin arguably is behind the curve in terms of technology, yet its much more well known therefore people are attracted to it more.

Also I will add that even though I am heavily involved in Litecoin, I support Bitcoin and many other alts. Although I personally know little about Bytecoin and Monero.
