I'd create an intricate, endless, yet seemingly unsolvable (because I just made it up) puzzle and have him try to solve it.... But if Satoshi is actually Satoshi he'd call my Bluff instantly. Marketing isn't what he wants, or it'd be happening on a larger scale already.

I would tell him that I can help him on bitcoin marketing to reach more business people and companies, because that is the key for bitcoin expansion.
Same here. I will do the same. I wouldn't tip him like the others.

Seriously what sort of question is this? This forum is really getting a lot of 'troll' questions now.

If you are serious then you have to say what type of job Satoshi would be hiring for, do you still beleive Satoshi runs bitcoin or something?

What does the hypothetical have to do with whether Satoshi currently runs Bitcoin or not? If you're really looking to work for Bitcoin, there's plenty of venues. I'm trying to gauge Satoshi worship.

Dig it? How would you impress him?

depends on the job really? i cant really impress him technically so i'd have to go into a speech about how and why bitcoin is important and in what whys it will change the world in the future.

You can give yourself your own title, just like Gavin dubbed himself "Chief Scientist" because he was there from the start. Because Bitcoin is still in its early stages, maybe you'd be put into the marketing team.

Speaking of which....
if I wanted to impress Satoshi, I would tell him straight about what his flaws were.
And it has nothing to do with technical issues.....

Why? It would have to serve the purpose of getting the job, and getting the job done. The entire Bitcoin protocol is essentially Satoshi (his thinking and logic), flaws and all. Or maybe that would impress him. I dunno.

Clearly you have little knowledge of "who is behind the wheel" now.....

It's hypothetical. Whoever is "behind the wheel" now can't escape the shadow of Satoshi. It's the nature of the beast. As the saying goes, "who is the fool, the fool or the fool that follows the fool?" In that sense, let's say you had the chance to be an early adopter of Bitcoin, how would you have gotten the job?

I would tip him with some BTC.

Seriously now, what a bullshit question  Tongue

You would pay your boss with his own invention? Now that's flattering. LOL
I doubt that Satoshi would be interested in a humble tip you can give him. He already has plenty of coins. I am sure that he is lurking here from time to time and he does not really need any special kind of appreciation. After all he knows we all love him. And I think that man of science like Satoshi can only be impressed by some cool scientific invention...

So you would impress him with some kind of invention?

I wouldn't. because I know I don't stand a chance with my current knowledge of.. ummm,, everything?

Bitcoin didn't become a phenomenon if every little bit didn't help. I think you just gotta prove yourself useful any way you can.
